SitRep - 02/09/23 - AMRAAM AIM-120D and depleted Uranium munitions

An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. The US wants to arm Ukraine with AMRAAM missiles with a range of 160-180 km. In addition, the fighting at the front continues.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 02/09/23 reported by the Ukrainian general staff.

+570 men
+12 tanks
+24 APVs
+30(!) artillery pieces
+1 MLRS
+1 AD system
+12 UAVs

An Iranian supplied Mohajer-6 was shot down
The Russian MoD claimed it had destroyed three Ukrainian naval drones, targeting patrol ships in the Black Sea.
A Russian vehicle destroyed by the 72nd mechanized brigade in the Vuhledar area.
A ammunition warehouse inside Kreminna was destroyed while also targeting various types of equipment and fortifications
A full 9K37 BUK complex destroyed.
An anti-drone base set up by Russian forces was targeted with an FPV drone. One Russian soldier was struck and didn't survive.
It took some grenades, but finally the Russian abandoned tank was destroyed
Big hit! A TOS-1A (very scary weapon) was destroyed despite its cope cage.
Lets continue with the general events. A new US aid package is prepared which will include depleted uranium shells.
In response to Russian sources claiming Ukraine lost its armored capabilities, the Ukrainian sources released a video showing lots of Western supplied Leopard tanks. Likely on a training base
Humenyuk reported on the fact that Russia is trying to figure out what the AFU is doing on the left bank.
A bald claim by Danilov, who said that Ukraine is capable of hitting targets as far as 1500km away (!)
The US is planning to supply Ukraine with AMRAAM (likely the AIM-120D) missiles with a range of 160-180 km.
Türkiye has confidence that the grain initative can be restarted
To the front. Kupyansk-Dvorichna axis:

➡️Included all unreported Russian gains which were there already for over a week.
➡️Trusting on sources fighting there, Russian hositilities have decreased significantly. Some even speak about offensive actions completely bogging down. Image
Svatove-Karmazynivka axis:

➡️Russians conducted a fairly big attack on Novojehorivka, but failed big time. In the process they lost several tanks and armored carriers.
➡️This front also stalled as fighting only seems to be happening near Novojehorivka. Other axis are quiet. Image
Bakhmut-Kurdyumivka axis:

➡️The AFU is continuing its advance behind the railway tracks north of Kurdyumivka. Russians putting in extra reserves and resist heavily.

Reports of explosions near the airport in Pskov in Russia coming in.
It is reported a drone attack is happening on the airport. Air defense and small arms to shoot them down are active.
It is reported two Russian planes are damaged although we have no visual confirmation yet. Explosions are still happening.
