SitRep - 04/09/23 - The 82nd entered infantry trenches..

An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. West of Verbove, the 82nd Brigade has moved into a part of the infantry trenches. An important defensive spot for the Russians.

Overnight a fairly big attack on the Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk region happened with Shahed drones. 23 out of 32 were shot down.
An ammo storage out in the open was found and destroyed
Destroyed equipment near a bridge crossing, set up by the Russians near Klishchiivka
A 2S19 Msta-S destroyed
Fires in Moscow keep happening 🧐
Let's continue with the general events. The 'trophy' Russian helicopter that was flown into Ukraine will soon enter service in the AFU
A new drone with AI capabilities will be used by the AFU
Apparently, Taurus cruise missile delivery only depends on Scholz.
During the day, a spokesman of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign affairs claimed that a Shahed-drone fell on Romanian territory and detonated there during the attack on Reni port in Odesa region.
But Romania refuted this claim.
Some hours later, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba claimed there is photographic evidence and there is no reason to deny it. We will see in the future who was right.

During a visit of Erdogan in Sochi, Russia and Türkiye tried to restart the grain deal with new propals brokered by the UN and Türkiye. But Putin refused.

This morning, WarGonzo made a worrying post for Russians that the AFU is advancing east of Novoprokopivka.
South of Bakhmut-Kurdyumivka axis:

➡️AFU is pushing towards the eastern part of the settlement. Heavy fighting ongoing.

In addition, Deputy MoD Hanna Maliar confirmed 3km² was liberated in the Bakhmut direction last week.

Reports of explosions near the airport in Pskov in Russia coming in.
It is reported a drone attack is happening on the airport. Air defense and small arms to shoot them down are active.
It is reported two Russian planes are damaged although we have no visual confirmation yet. Explosions are still happening.
