SitRep - 07/09/23 - More US aid and advances along the front ๐Ÿ‘Œ

An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Today Ukraine received extra military aid and at the front Ukraine is making territorial gains in several places. The mood is shifting.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 07/09/23 reported by the Ukrainian general staff.

+610 men
+9 tank
+21 APVs
+37 (!) artillery pieces
+5 MLRS
+1 AD system
+22 UAVs
+8 cruise missiles Image
A total of 25 out of 33 Shahed-drones were shot down in Ukraine overnight. It seems Russia is saving its missiles and is relying heavily on Iranian supplies.
It was noisy in Moscow overnight. Zhukovsky airport was closed due to an UAV threat.
Also in Rostov, early in the morning, Ukraine attempted to attack the Military District building. It almost hit the building itself, causing damage.
A BM-21 Grad destroyed by HIMARS projectiles
A group of infantry was targeted with an FPV drone right after they came out of their APC.
A Russian field depot hosting a grenade launcher and ammo was found and destroyed
BMP-1 minus 1
A car full of Russian entourage was either killed or seriously wounded on the left bank.
Let's continue with the general events. New cluster munitions are on the way.
New specially designed drones were delivered to the AFU.
I couldn't have said it better myself.
The US ambassador to Ukraine said the US will send 190 MRAP's to Ukraine as part of military aid. This has not yet been confirmed.
But another assistance package was officially announced, worth $600 million.
To the front, Vasylivka-Robotyne axis:

โžก๏ธThe AFU has liberated ~9,35kmยฒ. These were area's that were either recently (north of Verbove) or less recently liberated but not yet confirmed (NW of Robotyne).

Russian channels reporting on the situation in this axis
A Russian tank was struck by an FPV drone dropping custom munition in the hatch which Russians left open.
Svatove-Karmazynivka axis

โžก๏ธArea under RU control after the initial offensive decreased with ~1kmยฒ.
โžก๏ธGeolocated footage shows a Russian tank column getting destroyed, losing at least 3 pieces in that particular attack near Novojehorivka. This is the 2nd failed attack in a week. Image
Bakhmut-Kurdyumivka axis:

โžก๏ธAFU made a small advance (~0,75kmยฒ) along the forest strip west of the railway tracks south of Andriivka.
โžก๏ธRussians have been recorded fleeing the northeastern parts of Klishchiivka
โžก๏ธA push to Andriivka and cleanup of Klishchiivka is expected next. Image
Russians fleeing and trying to evacuate their wounded from Klishchiivka in the process.
AFU targeting a Russian tank just east of Andriivka. This is the main supply road to the settlement, which is now fully under AFU fire control. Russia can only bring in infantry to the settlement, in plain sight.
