I still hadn’t posted the new Ramia-Yana chapter on there, I’ll probably not bother this time…
All that aside the drawing very popular on here so not like I’m particularly down about it, just a little confused.
Confused as in, I posted fanarts on r/manga before and it was usually doing fine.
Even my wrestler Bocchi fanart got 2,5k upvotes over there.
It’s not like r/manga isn’t as lowest common denominator as it gets, just looking at their top upvoted posts. "Self insert 1st pov short oneshots with some hot waifu" tends to be awfully popular there.
Damn, I checked the account of that comment I included in the pic and I saw he posted that:
"I would like to read a romcom where the main character is scared from the past and is a loner. I want it to be very wholesome so nothing out of the line please."
Checks out ig

Extra shoutout to the one who said « she’s for lesbians only » toward the character who is specifically a huge simp toward a male character and who is canonly fine with having sex with the 3 male playable characters.
Talking to a french mangaka the other day, it brought back the subject that a number of french publishers wouldn’t want Ramia because it’s too spicy.
Meanwhile in the new CSM chapter Denji gets straight up jerked off. Spiciness is clearly not a problem for the audience lol.
Just to be clear this french mangaka had nothing bad to say by himself, he was very supportive, je was just honest about his publisher. And that’s despite the fact his series still have pretty mature themes like violence, corruption, but it’s male focused so it’s ok.
France has quite a lot of spicy manga too. I just bought the other day the new volumes of Looking up to Magical Girls. Chainsaw Man is just as hyper popular as everywhere else.
It’s likely just an « issue » when they’re actually publishing original series lol.
Filia is literally the sexy poster girl of the game lmfao. If her fictional age is such a problem then literally just update that number from 16 to 18 and move along.
Skullgirls has way too much horny in its DNA to genuinely wash it off. Those changes are just extremely superficial attempts at pleasing a crowd that will logically never be satisfied. Better off just deleting Filia from it at this point (or again, just… fucking retcon her age).
