It's been an incredible journey preparing and building the Council on Blockchain, Decentralization, and Currency and our CIVIC ENGAGEMENT TOKEN $CBDC.

What started as a simple troll against Central Bank douchebaggery has become so much more.

Filed as a 501(c)4 organization the $CBDC mission statement is:

"To broadly improve tech and financial literacy in order to promote the principles of decentralization, immutability, and censorship resistance in culture, legislation, regulation, and legal rulings."

To accomplish our mission the Council will build a bridge between Tech and Politics based on the shared principles of liberty.

Our mission is not partisan and founding members of the Council loosely identify as Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, Anarcho-Capitalist, etc.

Perhaps my favorite part of the project(s) is how we have tied the value of the $CBDC token to the impact of our activism through some simple burn mechanics.

This is also somewhere we expect to receive some complaints because the $CBDC buy/sell taxes will be set at 4/4

REMEMBER $CBDC IS NOT A MEME COIN. The taxes will be used for:

- 1% Automatically added to LP (50% Tokens and 50% ETH)
- 1% Automatic Token Burn
- 1% Marketing and Expenses
- 1% DAO Treasury

The use of taxes to create liquidity and burn tokens will compliment other significant deflationary features. Ten percent (10%) of all contributions to the 501(c)4 will be used to buy and burn $CBDC, along with additional allocations from future revenue streams.

Tokens will also be burned as part of the DAO Governance. While the exact nature of that governance structure is still being developed, the structure will demand transparency and reward participation in new and exciting ways.

(8) REAL ACTIVISM:

The Council on Blockchain, Decentralization and Currency's ability to impact legislation and policy is at the core of why this project is necessary.

Two recent pushes you might recall were against the RESTRICT ACT and the DIGITAL PLATFORM COMMISSION ACT

After holding spaces and several calls to action, opposition to the Restrict Act went mainstream including opposition from Joe Rogan.

Despite Senator co-sponsors in both parties, the bill died Committee. Shoutout to @MarioNawfal for the assist.

More recently, we discovered a terrible bill designed to make every digital platform as censored as Meta.

@elonmusk responded to that thread in opposition to the Digital Platform Commission Act.

Our work to stop the DPCA is ongoing.

The legal presence on the Council on Blockchain, Decentralization and Currency is robust. We will seek declarative judgements, issue "friend of the Court" opinions, and other lawyer stuff.

(12) "Education through adoption"

As a 501(c)4 half of our budget must be spent on education.

People will be able to earn $CBDC tokens by completing approved courses, setting up wallets, and participating in projects.

(13) Educating Policy Makers

Another big part of the Council's agenda is identifying candidates and legislators through interviews and forums, who will protect the underlying values of decentralization, immutability, and censorship resistance in tech.

The Council on Blockchain, Decentralization and Currency will play a central role in the coming years as government passes laws, enacts regulations, and issues judicial rulings.
