Every year, on the third Friday of September, Ukraine commemorates the Day of Remembrance of Journalists. The day was established in 2007 at the initiative of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.

While we hate to give a platform to war criminals, this one caught our attention today.
In his latest video, Yevgeny Prigozhin makes some very interesting statements. In this first part, he talks of the corruption schemes present inside Russian military structures. 1/5 🧵
While the information isn't new, it's interesting how the narrative evolves. Prigozhin accuses Russia of plundering the occupied Donbas for over 8 years. He goes on to criticize the military structures that have failed the region and led to its economic and strategic demise. 2/5
Prigozhin goes on to give his vision of the ongoing war. What's notable is that he states that Ukraine hasn't been viciously attacking Donbas for 8 long years, as it's been long-propagated by the Russian government, but rather mutually "exchanged fire" with Russian positions. 3/5

☢️ Russia is considering the scenario of a terrorist attack on the Zaporizhzhia NPP, possibly using a release of radiation, – President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In his latest address, President Zelenskyy quotes Ukraine’s most recent Special Security Intelligence report that contains extensive evidence of Russia’s preparations for the potential terrorist attack on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
According to the President, Ukraine has transferred all available information and evidence to international partners. He urges the international community to take urgent action, since a radiation leak will be catastrophic not only to Ukraine, but all other neighbouring countries.

On June 6th, Russia destroyed the Kakhovka Dam. The terrorist attack has had a devastating impact. But the situation on the temporarily occupied left bank of the river Dnipro is particularly catastrophic. We teamed up with volunteers from @helpingtoleave to tell you about it. 🧵 Image
While the city of Kherson was liberated late last year, many settlements on the left bank of Dnipro in the region remain occupied by Russia. Once the flood waters hit, Ukraine began to evacuate everyone it could. But the occupied settlements had to endure a much different fate.
Humanitarian aid is scarce in occupied areas. Volunteers are prevented from reaching flooded towns. There are reports of Russian snipers stationed on roofs, shooting at volunteer boats that are attempting to rescue stranded people. Russia keeps shelling the flooded settlements. Image

🇺🇦 Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba claims that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is personally interested in the transfer of Ukrainian prisoners of war from Russia to Hungary.

According to Yevropeiska Pravda, Kuleba made this statement during a telethon on Monday. 1/4
