Ah so the reason Russell Brand became a right-wing grifter was not him just him being a massive narcissist but also because he might be accused of being rapist and needs an audience who will support him no matter what
imo an innocent man doesn't just start spamming all his socials denying he's done anything wrong before the story has even been revealed - also his agency dropped him - you'd think he'd be up to sue the press that will reveal the allegations? doesn't seem like he is Image
says so much about the right-wing that they will go ape shit about any person they don't like being accused of anything (recently Obama being gay?) but when it's one of their own they don't believe + stand by them - not surprising conservatives don't actually hate (alleged) rape
anyone who is disputing the Russell Brand stuff just know you are defending a nonce rapist

I think it's amazing people don't even want to understand criticisms of Mr Beast. Yes in a complete vacuum Mr Beast helps a lot of people, those people are probably grateful for it (thread)
Years ago I thought most people agreed giving money to homeless people and filming it was in poor taste right? like you're exploiting their situation to make yourself look better to help yourself - otherwise why film it? Most of us don't film ourselves doing good deeds
So there is the dual motive there. Even if there is a genuine desire to do good there is a desire to be seen doing good too - to build (at the very least) rep, clout, fame and also money

I honestly think this tweet puts to bed the notion that Mr Beast does 'good' because he's a nice guy - when in reality it's always about growing his brand and being liked
Think about yourself in Mr Beast's position - if you genuinely did good things just to be a good person why would you care what a minority of people on twitter think? most people still love him, he's literally the world's biggest YouTuber, like why would you care?
It's amazing how much he's showing himself to be like his daddy Musk. Musk is one of the richest men in the world, legions of simps, but it's still not enough because leftists are mean to him. Both just have such fragile egos.

People saying Tyre Nichols being killed by black cops means it had nothing to do with racism just show how poorly we generally understand racism and white supremacy
My Rhodesia video always attracts these types - 'How can Rhodesia be racist, it had black Africans in their army!' - Yes black Africans who protected apartheid for either money or tribal/ethnic hatred - and killed other black Africans who resisted fascist apartheid
Just like the long dead Rhodesian military, Western police are the enforcers of white supremacy, doesn't matter what skin colour the police in that force have - if they also enforce white supremacy

Just stumbled across this while researching Japanese fascism - Pewdiepie’s talks about his favourite author the traditionalist fascist Mishima but seems to be pretty positive about the guy which is really weird
Basically the dude is kinda like Japanese Evola - but a better writer. The second book that is referenced by Pewds in the description is pretty good outline of his ideology of wanting to restore feudal Japan. Mishima has been a influence on Japanese and Western fascism
I can totally accept someone liking work done by horrible people - happens all the time. But if you watch the video he seems to admire the dude personally beyond his writings… which is very weird.

Don’t think this is helpful at all. We are brainwashed to be racist. Every white person in the West is raised in white supremacy. Most people don’t realise it - helps more if we help our family members learn that rather than never speak to them again.
I confront my parents if they say something racially insensitive. Hopefully it has an impact. They aren’t racist zealots just people who never question that BS they were indoctrinated in. Am I just mean to never speak to them because I can’t convert them to anti-racism quickly?
If you are a young person who has great moral parents with similar values I’m happy for you. Most of us won’t, and it’s better for them to learn from their family because if not us who will teach them anything?

The worst part about doing YouTube is when it’s going bad it’s feel like it will never get better 😮‍💨 favour me again mighty algorithm 😩
The thing that’s suck about when it’s going bad - because of capitalism - you have to focus more on a combination of stuff you want to make and stuff that will do well - rather than doing what you want (which you can more when things are going okay)
I’ve had bad periods, I think now is the worst I’ve had since Sept 2021 in terms of subs (views are steady enough, ad rev not great) - so trying to remind myself it does get bad sometimes before getting better (until one day it won’t of course…)
