SitRep - 19/09/23 - UN General Assembly + Ramstein

An overview of daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Zelenskyi, like Biden, spoke in the UN general assembly and urged the international community for aid while another Ramstein meeting happened in Germany.

Russia attacked Ukraine overnight. Luckily almost all Shahed-drones were shot down. Unfortunately in Lviv a warehouse was hit, which killed an employee.
A Russian 2S4 Tyulpan was destroyed
During the day, Melitopol was attacked, reportedly by HIMARS. Ukrainian StratCom confirmed it attacked and destroyed a Russian military headquarters

A Russian T-90M was destroyed
Lets continue with the general events. Zelenskyi visited wounded Ukrainian soldiers in New York prior to his speech in the UN General Assembly.
Borrell announced that EU foreign ministers will soon meet in Kyiv.
The grain corridor for civilian ships in the Black Sea created by the Ukrainian Navy is working.
In Germany, the 15th Ramstein format meeting begun. Denmark announced more aid by financing 45 more tanks.
Norway announced also more aid in the form of tracked cargo carriers.
The UK announced also new aid to Ukraine by sending much needed artillery shells.
Czechia, Denmark and The Netherlands also announced a new substantial aid package to Ukraine.
More details became known about the €400 million aid package from Germany to Ukraine.
Joe Biden spoke at the UN General Assembly.
Zelenskyi also had a very powerful speech of which this part is probably the most important.

➡️Russian forces are conducting flank attacks near Robotyne with mobile groups using ATGM
➡️Fighting is still ongoing south of Robotyne towards Novoprokopivka, but there are many trench networks that make advancement difficult Image
Bakhmut-Kurdyumivka

➡️Russian units conducted counter attacks near Klishchiivka and east of Andriivka, trying to regain lost positions. Battles occur near the railway tracks. Image
