SitRep - 21/09/23 - Zelenskyi in New York & New US aid

An overview of daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Last night Russia attacked Ukraine with a large number of cruise missiles. Zelenskyi went to New York and new US aid was announced.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 21/09/23 reported by the Ukrainian general staff

+490 men
+3 tanks
+15 APVs
+41 artillery pieces (!)

Since a while, Russia attacked Ukraine with a big amount of cruise missiles overnight. A total of 43 were launched of which 36 were shot down.
The SBU released info about the attack last evening on Saky Air Base. It turned out they attacked the Air Base while a dozen tactical fighter jets were present.
He won't serve in Ukraine anymore.
Satelite images confirm the AFU hit a strategic command post of the Black Sea Fleet in Verkhnosadove.
A Giatsint-B was destroyed in the Kherson region.
A Russian BM-27 URAGAN destroyed in Zaporizhzia region.
More info on the attack on Melitopol. A Russian headquarters including commanders and officers were hit.
During the evening, explosions were noted in Sevastopol.
Lets continue with the general events. Belgium is considering to send F-16's.
Zelenskyi published information on his meeting with Lula on the sidelines of the UN general assembly. Body language says it all.
Ukraine and Poland are willing to settle the dispute over grain export.
Ukraine and Slovakia also came to an agreement.
Germany updated their aid provided to Ukraine.
The US officially announced new aid to Ukraine.
