🇶🇦🇺🇸 Trump administration to receive 'flying palace' as gift from Qatar ahead of Gulf visit.

The US President will leave for the first diplomatic visit of his new term to the Middle East in the coming days.

In the run-up to the visit, it became known that Trump is about to receive a luxury Boeing 747-8 jet – a gift from the family of the Emir of Qatar.

The Department of Defense is accepting the gift and it will be transferred to National Archives and Records Administration as an exhibit.

The P4-HBJ jet, formerly known as A7-HHE, the world's first customized Boeing 747-8, built in 2012 for the Qatari royal family. The jet, with interior fittings and subsequent upgrades to suit the needs of the US president, is estimated to cost more than $400 million.

The aircraft is considered one of the most luxurious in the world. The Boeing 747-8's interiors include bedrooms, VIP lounges, gold trim, and advanced communications equipment. Aviation experts estimate that it may be the most expensive gift ever given to an American administration by a foreign government.

🇻🇦 Looks like the new pope has helped covered up sexual abuse in the church?

As far as I understand: A priests has sexually abused girls and admitted it. Provost then moved the abused and made sure there is no information available, so the case is dropped.

“Despite the fact that he acknowledged the abuses before Prevost, the aggressor was only changed headquarters.

Although the complaints do not prescribe, they require the Church to appoint a canonical lawyer, which so far has been denied to the three survivors.

They presented a legal defense; however, this was withdrawn through a statement.”

Three survivors of sexual abuse reported that Cardinal Robert Prevost, who served as bishop of the northern city of Chiclayo (Peru), covered up the cases despite the fact that the denounced priest admitted the charges, according to a report released this Sunday by Cuarto Poder.

Two of the complainants testified anonymously.

In a new statement, the alleged victims claim that Prevost failed in 2022 to open an investigation into the accusations of sexual abuse dating back to 2007. They say that any documentation that may have been sent to Rome was purposely designed to look inadequate so as to prevent action on the case.

The allegations that Prevost engaged in covering up abuse reports are particularly significant, since Prevost’s current post as head of the Dicastery for Bishops oversees complaints and investigations of episcopal negligence in abuse cases around the world.
