SitRep - 29/09/23 - Russia lost another Su-35 fighter

An (abbreviated) overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Russia lost another Su-35 fighter plane and PMC Wagner makes its return to Ukraine.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 29/09/23 reported by the Ukrainian General Staff.

The Kursk region is very much subject to drone strikes lately. Also during the night, Ukraine hit a substation.
Russia lost a very expensive Su-35 fighter jet. First reports state that a Russian S-300 missile system hit their own fighter jet over the sky of Tokmak.
A fine compilation of the 92nd brigade, destroying several pieces of Russian equipment.
Berdyansk was reportedly hit today which led to outages in the city. No more information about the strike is available at this time.
The SBU released images of a destroyed Kasta 2E radar station in the Kursk region.
The general mood in Russia is not good. Another person tried to set fire to a local enlistment office. But instead he set himself on fire.
The Freedom of Russia legion had reportedly entered the Bryansk region and got involved in a fight with Russian border guards.
Lets continue with the general events. Putin order the former PMC Wagner chief of staff to search for 'volunteers' and form units to participate in Ukraine. You know what that means.
This comes together with British Intelligence stating that hundreds of PMC Wagner fighters appeared in Ukraine again.
Gazprom had a stunning 25% decrease in Gas production and supply. It is probably even higher.
Russia is holding talks/negotations with the Taliban. The group of crooked countries that Russia is intensifying relationships with is growing.
Norway will prohibit the entrance of Russian cars into its country. Buses are still allowed.
During the visit of French Defense Minister Lecornu to Ukraine, his delegation signed lots of contracts and letters of intent with Ukrainian companies.
