How Police tracked each and every member in infamous photo.
THREAD:
After the Police shot and killed copkiller Mwanee on 20th Aug 2017 at Weteithie Area in Kiambu, they recovered a Ceska Pistol reg no. A879675 which belonged to an army man.
This was good news.
However, they were unable to recover the AK47 Rifle in this picture since the other gang leaders pictured here managed to escape.
Teddy Kasanga, Kimondo, Kush& others .
The news of Mwanee's death sent shockwaves in the streets of Kayole. It was almost unbelievable and still very terrifying to small time Gaza miscreants.
Everybody now was put on notice. NI KUBAYA
However one Kimondo who managed to escape on that fateful wasn't one to be scared.
He mourned his Boss online, promised to attend his funeral & swore to keep the spirit of Gaza on. His balls were now bigger than ever !
This he did with instructions from the new Boss in Town
Teddy Kasanga who was Mwanii's Best Friend & 2nd in command.
However their threat to attend the burial wasn't fruitful since Teddy received reports that undercover cops would also attend the burial. They chose to stay in their untraceable hideouts.
Mwanee was buried at his family home only by his family
And detectives who sat amidst the mourners while undercover but yet still on high alert to spot the criminals.
However, the goons didn't show up.
Mwanee was buried a lonely young soul.
Angry that they couldn't attend the burial of their slain Boss, Teddy organized a hit out of town. This he did as an experiment to know if he was being followed. He organized a gang attack at Mwea Kirinyaga and sent his goons.
True to his word, his operations were on high surveillance. Flying squad officers were on his ass and when the goons set off to lay their attack at Mwea, they were ambushed and killed instantly at Makutano Junction in Kirinyaga.
7 of them died.
Police recovered a Ceska Pistol and 2 homemade guns able to fire shots.
In addition the goons blessed the cops with rolls of weed to cool off their minds after such a successful mission. However, the AK47 stolen at Kiambu was still at large & this irked the cops.
Angry coz he couldn't attend the burial of Mwanee on 29th and their botched mission on 6th Sep 2017, the goons were determined & blood thirsty. Teddy & crew came back to the scene 3 weeks later.
Saturday 28th Oct 2017 at 3AM in the morning Teddy & the gang pulled up inna peng and shot dead 2 police officers
This they did with the AK47 the police were desperately looking for. Later they took the officers 2 pistols- a Jericho & Ceska- split ways & went into hiding.
One group of Teddy Kasanga went into hiding in a remote town of Tala in Machakos County.
The other group of 3 went to hiding at Kenol in Murang'a County. Only small time crooks were now left in Kayole.
The gang that went to Kenol Murang'a rented a bedsitter They strategically chose a house on the 4th floor of this one since it had the full eye view of the area so that they'd see potential danger now that they knew they were wanted men.
Here they thought, wako chini ya maji.
But the DCI sleuths who were on high alert keep track of their phones. Once the miscreants turned them on 2 days later they discovered their location and an ambush was planned.
In the early morning of Oct 30 2017, the police ambushed the place. Obviously being on high alert & living on the 4th floor the goons spotted the approaching officers
There and then, they sprung into Rambo Action with their arms. This warranted the officers to take cover.
The shoot out immediately caught the attention of innocent residents who were now watching the 5 hour shoot out like a real time movie.
Clearly , Kimondo, Kush and Stevo had vowed No Retreat No Surrender. Kama Mbaya Mbaya.
Police were overwhelmed by the strategic location of the goons which led to the 5hr shootout, they resorted to seek help from an elite squad with a speciality in such danger.
They called in The Recce Squad who came to show the goons why they're the best team in Africa.
Once the officers showed the team leader of Recce Squad, Ndio wale wamejificha pale...The team sprung into lethal action.
With their first shot they downed Kimondo which scared the other two to leave their bedsitter & run to a neighboring tenant's house taking them hostage.
With hostages involved, the elite team now had to change tactic. They split into two swauds. One engaged the goons to keep them busy while others approached the house hoping that the hostages would be unharmed
The shootout continued.
Gladly, their strategy worked. The Recce Squad reached & after peeping in & seeing the hostages not on sight, they threw in a can of smoke thru the window.
With the goons blinded, officers blasted in the house sending shots shots shots to the Head !! It was game over !!
All goons neutralized, Kimondo, Kush and Stevo now lay in their pool of blood.
It was a tragic end to their criminal life.
Police recovereda sack of bullets, one gun stolen from police on 28th Oct and the AK47 that was stolen from police in Kiambu County.
However the success of this raid, the location of Teddy and the gang in Tala was still unknown.
