I remember last congress when 11 Republicans voted with the Democrats to kick me off committees.
I didn’t care about the democrat votes but the 11 republican votes stung.
Now my friend Matt Gaetz says he is going to make a motion to vacate our Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
🧵 1/20
And I saw in the news that other Republicans are now talking about expelling Matt Gaetz.
Here is how I see all of this.
As members of congress, we are each elected (hired) by the people of our districts to represent them and responsibly govern for the American people.
2/20
The electorate gave Republicans the majority this congress, which means we are in charge of responsibly making a budget and control where the American people’s hard earned tax dollars are spent and how.
But we only have 222 Republicans and it takes 218 to pass anything.
3/20
I can’t possibly explain to you how difficult it is to get 218 of us to agree on anything, I often compare it to that family argument of not being able to agree on where to eat dinner.
“I want this, no I want that, no I don’t want that..”
It never ends.
4/20
Here’s the bottom line.
Most people generally only care about 4 things.
Their kids (or pets)
Their bank accounts
Their jobs
And their weekends.
And when stupid politicians are screwing up anything to do with their 4 things, people get angry and rightfully so!
5/20
And right now, people are angry about a lot and I don’t blame them.
They are still angry at COVID shutdowns and mandates.
They’re suffering from Bidenomics that created crippling inflation and high interest rates.
They’re appalled at Democrat’s open border policies and..
6/20
the Biden Administration ceding our border control over to the Mexican cartels who are making billions from human trafficking and drug trafficking that is killing over 300 Americans daily.
They are terrified that the Washington war machine’s blood thirsty obsession of..
7/20
killing Russians is going to lead us into WWIII and they are fed up with billions of their own hard earned tax dollars going to Ukraine while Americans are suffering and have been enslaved into $33 Trillion in debt.
And all of these serious problems have been caused by..
8/20
stupid politicians in Washington and all of these serious problems are affecting the 4 main things people care about.
And most of all, people are tired of all the ridiculous drama while no one is solving the serious problems that are ripping our country apart at the seams.
9/20
I don’t blame people one bit for hating politicians and Washington DC.
And now while our federal government is once again floundering with less than 45 days left on another CR (borrowed money & borrowed time) and we still have to pass 8 more Appropriation bills,
10/20
it’s going to be really hard to do that in normal times but now we’ve got to start the week off with a big family feud with a motion to vacate Kevin McCarthy and a movement to expel Matt Gaetz.
All of this has the Democrats, who America’s electorate fired last congress,
11/20
giddy with opportunity to take full advantage of gleaning prizes for themselves in exchange for votes.
All of this now has the House of Representatives on the verge of chaos and will only leave our majority weakened and dangerously fractured.
But why are we here?
12/20
We are here because Congress operates on a calendar set up for producing annual failure.
With a September 30th fiscal year end, and a calendar that sends congress home all of August & half of September, it’s obvious why there’s usually an emergency CR to avoid a shutdown
13/20
usually resulting in a Christmas omnibus which is really like a giant lump of coal in the American people’s stockings.
No wonder we’re $33T in debt.
Intentional systemic failure is something I have no respect for and refuse to be a part of.
This has to change.
14/20
What I see is a system of failure and a federal government that serves the world first and America last and my desire for wanting to fix it is why I ran for congress in the first place.
So I agree with Matt Gaetz that things must change,
15/20
but I don’t agree that a motion to vacate will effectively create the changes needed to solve the intentional systemic failure that create the annual never ending CR’s and Christmas omnibus mega spending packages.
A mtv of our Speaker gives the upper hand to the Democrats,
16/20
during dangerous times while we have been handed over under the presidency of an ailing old man ridden with dementia, whom has spent over 50 yrs in Washington seats of power corruptly enriching himself and his family by delivering policy deals to foreign investors.
17/20
And a Republican led effort to expel Matt Gaetz absolutely will not be tolerated by Republicans across the country.
I can guarantee you that.
Remember when 11 R’s voted against me and 10 R’s voted to impeach Pres Trump?
Both the mtv and expulsion plans are wrong.
18/20
The American people are relying on Republicans to get our acts together and hold all of those accountable who have and continue to hurt the 4 main things they care about - their kids, bank accounts, jobs, and weekends.
Republicans need to get off the power trips,
19/20
stop the absurd drama, remember who the enemy is, stop fighting with each other, and get serious about solving the problems that produce annual systemic failure.
That requires real hard work.
And real hard work that is focused on putting America first, and ourselves last.

For weeks, I’ve been asking for Ukraine funding to be a standalone vote, not cash hidden inside of other bills. For a moment, it seemed like that would happen. But it didn’t.
Instead of stripping $300 million of funding to Ukraine from the DOD approps bill like House leadership promised, the Rules committee passed a package that combines multiple approps bills into a single rule.
Not only will Congress be forced to vote on a rule that includes..
..$300 million for Ukraine in America’s defense spending bill, it is now combined with a State and Foreign Ops spending bill that gives a blank check to Biden to spend in Ukraine.
This means BILLIONS of your hard earned money will be at the disposal of Joe Biden,..
I’m appalled at this factually wrong and completely out of touch letter written by Freedom Caucus member @RepKenBuck about the treatment of J6 defendants.
First off, Mr. Buck passed the buck on voting to object on Jan 6, 2021 and certified Joe Biden’s election so we know..
🧵1/8
he does not support President Trump.
Ken Buck has also been vocally against impeachment inquiry on Joe Biden, shockingly completely unwilling to even ask the question in spite of the overwhelming evidence proving Joe Biden abused his power..
2/8
with involvement in his son’s foreign business deals.
And Ken Buck wrote a book called “Drain the Swamp” ??
So he’s currently on record now supporting Joe Biden’s election, against impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden, and IN FAVOR AND SUPPORT of Biden’s DOJ persecution of J6’ers!
3/8
The White House is attacking me for demanding an impeachment inquiry before I’ll vote to fund one penny to our over bloated $32 TRILLION dollar in debt failing government.
🧵 THREAD
We have the evidence they have desperately been trying to hide to just ask the question. Should we inquire? Should we just take a look? Dare we investigate further?
The answer is YES but the White House is outraged at my audacity to demand it.
The White House is filled with pathetic blind fools led by one corrupt criminal mentally incompetent old man who has been in Washington seats of power longer than I’ve been alive. Over 50 years!
This conviction of 5 pro-life activists under 18 USC 241, Conspiracy against rights, is a continuation of a dangerous trend set by communist prosecutors.
THREAD 🧵
This is the same law that the DOJ used to convict Douglass Mackey for posting memes, and the same law that Jack Smith used to indict President Trump for “depriving people of their right to vote.”
2/4
This law dates all the way back to 1870 under the KKK Act, and was intended to go after KKK members.
3/4
Today’s move by Merrick Garland to appoint David Weiss as Special Counsel to investigate (and in reality cover up) Hunter Biden’s criminal career is the latest action in a continuous pattern of corrupt behavior by Joe Biden and his regime.
THREAD 🧵
Behavior typically only seen in juntas in third-world nations or early twentieth-century dictatorships in Europe.
This is a cover-up, plain and simple.
This appointment is designed to protect Joe Biden from his exposure to the serious and substantial investigation Republicans are conducting in Congress.
Today, America finds itself in a troubling situation, resembling authoritarian regimes rather than the beacon of freedom and democracy our founders valiantly fought to establish.
🧵 THREAD
Innocent individuals, including former President Donald J. Trump, are being unjustly targeted by a Department of Injustice and an FBI transformed into political hitmen, acting at the behest of the sitting president.
Special Counsel Jack Smith has abused his power, using his office to persecute President Trump, his aides, and ultimately, the American people. These actions are undoubtedly politically motivated, with clear intentions of interfering with the upcoming 2024 election.
