Let's talk about what Reality TV Show actor Donald Trump has accomplished at the fraud trial he already lost today so far.
He told his cult going into the trial the judge that the judge was rogue and the prosecutor was racist. Few outlets reported on his slurred words.
Few outlets reported on what Tish James said before the trial started.
Few outlets noted that Kise's arguments abt valuation had been adjudicated.
Lots of outlets reported that the Reality TV Actor glared at The Black Woman Prosecutor on the way out. Some reported that she laughed it off.
At lunch, Reality TV Actor Donald Trump told his followers that the judge should be prosecuted and was guilty of election interference.
Now I know for people used to living in the reality-bound world, Reality TV Actor Donald Trump's conduct is wildly unwise.
But what he has done is get MOST OUTLETS to play to his script.
What he has done is prepare his followers to believe, at such time as Fox News gets around to reporting that he lost (which they haven't, yet), that he lost for the reasons he "predicted" he would lose: bc the judge and the Black Woman Prosecutor ganged up on him.
If last week's judgement and this trial were (or is--they still could be) reported with half the attention reporters pay to Hunter Biden dick pics, then it MIGHT lead some people to realize Trump is a fraud, always has been.
But thus far, Trump has utterly dictated storyline.
It's all just one Reality TV show for Actor Donald Trump and he remains far, far better at it than many of the reporters and editors whom he has cast to play a certain role.

Tell me that you're not following the January 6 investigation without telling me you've decided to talk about domestic terrorism without actually following the January 6 investigation.
WaPo suggests it is a matter of partisan spin--and not objective reality--whether Hunter Biden is the victim of a sustained smear campaign.
AYFKM? Does @PhilipRucker profess to be incapable of judging whether there is one?
@PhilipRucker One reason this matters is bc virtually all Democrats have REPEATEDLY gone on the record and said, "If Hunter violated the law, prosecute him."
Both are true: Concerted smear campaign, and support for prosecution.
Somehow there's no room for that in Devlin's latest propaganda.
Trump "demands special treatment, asserting that bc he is a political candidate, he should have free rein to publicly intimidate witnesses & malign the Court, citizens of this District, and prosecutors. But in this case, Donald J. Trump is a criminal defendant like any other."
DOJ mentions Trump's claims to have purchased a Glock. They cite 18 USC 922 (the statute under which Hunter Biden is charged) as basis for prohibition on buying a gun, not his release conditions.
Jamie Raskin shows boxes containing all the documents that James Comer has had no problem getting w/o impeachment, which show no evidence of wrongdoing.
Note, too, the timer showing how long it will be until @SpeakerMcCarthy shuts down the entire government, creating financial crisis for millions of families.
Not sure @jamescomer is having as much fun with impeachment as he thought he'd have.
This is the kind of evidence Republicans want to build impeachment over. They have it because Joseph Ziegler was angry he wasn't permitted to ask a question about it.
This evidence ACTUALLY shows that Ziegler was--and Republicans now are--trying to make a criminal case out of the fact that someone struggling w/addiction sought help from his family.
It ALSO shows that Ziegler is an utterly shoddy investigator, working off SUMMARIES, not direct quotes.
Additionally, this comes from a warrant, not tax returns. It's 6e (grand jury information), and probably obtained via poisoned fruit of the "laptop."
Really looking forward to how many journalists 1) don't report that Robert Costello, too, was sued by Hunter Biden and 2) Hunter is alleging that both Costello and Rudy HACKED his data.
Hacking is a crime. Statute of limitations has not expired on it
And note: The claim that Hunter was hacked -- at least by Garrett Ziegler -- is quite sound. Remarkably, LE officer Gary Shapley provided direct evidence that Hunter had been hacked ... and yet he did nothing.
As he did w/Garrett Ziegler, Hunter is alleging that Rudy and Costello violated multiple clauses of Federal CFAA statute.
That is, Hunter is arguing--quite plausibly--that DE USAO has pursued him for misdemeanor tax charges but NOT pursued multiple examples of CFAA violations.
