NEW: I went to Turning Point USA's Young Women's Leadership Summit in Texas this weekend.

Famous career women in right-wing media repeatedly told the audience of college and high school age girls: Give up your dreams to get married and have babies. mediamatters.org/charlie-kirk/c…
This exchange between an audience member and Charlie Kirk really exemplifies the entire weekend.

She tells him she's a student who dreams of being a surgeon and isn't interested in marriage.

Kirk: "You’re going to have to choose which one matters more.”
I think what wasn't brought up at the conference was extremely telling: the indictment of Donald Trump.

News and politics-- these things were relevant to the audience at the YWLS. It was all identity, all the time -- no substance, just aesthetics and grievance.

Tucker Carlson interviewed Barnett (the Nancy Pelosi desk guy) for the fascist "Patriot Purge" dic in Nov 2021.

Carlson portrayed Barnett as a victim and patriotic martyr, and defended him carrying a stun gun. For the doc, he posed Barnett at a desk as a troll.

The Daily Beast’s Julia Davis shared a translated clip from Russian TV saying the U.S chose a “black lesbian, hooked on drugs,” over a “decorated Marine” whose “three problems” are that “he is white,” “he is a man,” and “he is a heterosexual.”
