The CRIMINAL STORY of Mohammed Mahsen aka Dogo Presoo

Leader of Most Wanted TMK Gang in Old Town Mombasa.

Msa as a tourist destination has been famous for its beautiful beaches, tasty delicacies & once in a lifetime nightlife experiences.

However, the port city has also been tainted by pockets of gang related incidences by gangs fighting over turfs.

In early 2016 at Old Town- the neighborhood that harbours the Historic Site of Fort Jesus, a gang of young men was. formed up.

The gang was TMK/Temeke Wanaume. They were childhood friends who grew up playing football together but later graduated to ruthless thugz.

The leader of the Gang was Mahsen aka Dogo Presoo.
A 21 yr old youtman born and bred in Old Town Kibokoni Area.

Growing up he enjoyed swimming at the Indian Ocean & playing beach football. These hobbies helped him get friends who would later become members of his TMK Gang.

He chose his closest friends like Bobocha, Shafir & Ameto to be leaders. The gang according to him was to protect their neighborhood from gangs from Majengo. Sort of Vigilante Security.

However they would transition to terrorizing innocent Kenyans.

This transition would come since they spent their days smoking weed and popping Rohypnol pills at the beach. This is mostly b/c they were jobless & could not go to other towns fearing attacks by other gangs.

During these sessions they'd speak on other gangs.

Their fav drug Rohypnol is a blue tablet costing Ksh 850 stuck under the tongue like a sweet & prescribed for peeps with mental problems to calm them. It is very addictive & gives a sleepy ‘high’ if used by a normal person.

Once popped they leave the user with a blue tongue.

Their drug habit gassed them to start arming themselves. Unlike Nairobi's gun totting gangs,Dogo Presso settled on arming themselves with sharp pangas.

He started posting online with pangas clearly showing his lack of fear. He even created a logo of the gang with an axe.

They started an Online Beef with Floropa Gang of Majengo Area. Young lads who also grew up together but transitioned to gang utopia due to their drug use.

Floropa would also brandish weapons online claiming allegiance to their hood warning other rivals not to visit.

It was the mysterious death of Floropa Gang member Wesoo that led to the declaration of war between the two groups.

The young man was hacked to death on 12th Aug 2016 during a wedding in Old Town by unknown assailants but the gang blamed it on TMK.

His death was a culmination of several incidences of gang attacks at night during weddings and it was at this time that the Mombasa Police boss banned night weddings on Aug 16.

This was inorder for them to curb the prevailing insecurity

Floropa Gang angry about their comrade's death, they staged a retaliatory attack for their friend early November which led to Dogo Presso swearing to hunt down their leader Fakii Ropa .

He whatsapped him issuing him the warning and posted it online for all and sundry to see.

2 days later he went on a rampage ranting on social media. He did 3 posts on his account issuing warnings of possible attack going ahead to claim that he wanted their heads .

Crazy but true.

He even shut down efforts of call for peace from some of Floropa members who were clearly shaken by his threats. Kama samaki, Dogo Presoo hakuwa anarudi nyuma.

He taunted them as cowards.

Police now monitoring this beef online they decided to move fast b4 tragedy hit. On the same day of threats they arrested 4 key members of the TMK Gang. Bobocha, Ameto, Ismail & Swale.

They recovered a fake pistol, bhang and machetes which the 4 denied being in possession of

On Dec 1 2016, 2 days after his mates were arrested, Dogo presso posted his final threat to his rivals showing that the was nothing. Since the Floropa Gang had not stepped a foot in his hood, he decided that he would ambush them at their homes in Majengo

And true to his word, during the festive season Dogo Presso would lead his TMK gang into Majengo Area for an attack on Floropa Gang. Here they would record themselves carrying pangas ready to attack anyone who they'd find on the way.

Sadly they'd find an innocent young man who they'd overpower & record while they were hacking him. Dogo Presso would even post this video on his FB account with a this brazen caption.

It was this attack that now warranted sleuths take things seriously. It was now becoming deadly

Dogo Presso would retreat to his hideout in Old Town and would later surface on 1st Feb 2017 online, where he'd post that they'll continue attacking the Floropa Gang

However police were on his radar. They'd wait patiently until 1st April 2017 when the TMK gang attacked an MPESA shop owner in Old Town early morning.

The 3 gangsters were captured by CCTV camera in possession of a panga making away with Sh 100K and airtime worth thousands.

Weeks later on May 1st sleuths completed investigation into the robbery incident & publicly released the images of the whole Gang under the Most Wanted List.

Top of the list was their leader Dogo Presso with notable names of Ameto & Bobocha who had previously been arrested.

On 25th June 2017, one Bobocha unscared by the list came out of hiding and attacked a man at Madobini stabbing him and stealing his phone. Sadly, as he made away he was cornered by angry citizens who had seen his face on the most wanted list and was beaten to death by a mob.

Bobocha had previously posted a photo sketching how they'd reign terror on innocent residents and this was like a good taste of Karma.

On that same night Bobocha died, police staged a msako and flushed out 5 criminals from their hiding spot. The 5 five were found in possession of crude weapons.

The death of Bobocha hit hard the TMK Gang. He was a high ranking member in the crew and was highly mourned especially by his hot girlfriend who vowed to revenge his death in a FB post.

On July 20th 2017, Dogo Presso would yet again be arrested after citizens complained about him. However he would be released on a Ksh15K cash bail.

Afanye kesi akiwa nje.

However, the intensified manhunt for members of the gang had Dogo Presso scared. He knew cops don't play so together with others he surrendered in company of civil rights groups & MP Abdulswamad to police.

Here he explained that he attacks he did were acts of self defense.

The MP Abdulswamad who's now Msa Governor then promised to bring the warring gangs together to seek a common peace ground and aided their temporary release from authorities.
