I’ve just published a scoop about the #NordStream sabotage that might change the course of the investigation.

It revolves around a suspect named Rustem A. and in this thread I’m going to break down all the new evidence. 1/12

Rustem A. was first reported about last week, when Germany’s largest news outlets released a series of stories about the Nord Stream sabotage and who did it. He was reported to have been the money man behind renting the boat supposedly used in the attack. 2/12

I wanted to know more about Rustem A. so I started to investigate.

What I found shocked me. He turned up in Ukrainian court documents, related to case where police were investigators were looking at potential traitors working for Russia inside Ukraine. 3/12

Thanks to a set of numbers related to the case (criminal proceeding No. 12022000000000281), I was able to find all the court documents relating to the investigation that are available online. 4/12

In the documents it clearly states the investigation is after persons inside Ukraine with plans to bring about: “violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, changes in the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine” 5/12

The Ukrainian police went before the courts several times to request search warrants, so they could bust open doors at properties they believed were funnelling money into the treasonous group. 6/12

They got the warrants and gathered an enormous amount of evidence. At one location they found a suspect had ties to a scheme that was building and repairing military aircrafts to send to Russia that would then be used inside Ukraine. 7/12

What is wild is that it seems Rustem A. (the Nord Stream suspect) was believed by Ukrainian police to be a member of the group planning to overthrow the Ukrainian government. 8/12

The documents I have are redacted, but I can confirm that Rustem A. is the person being referenced because of twelve numbers 👇9/12

Last week, in the article released by @DIEZEIT , they wrote about a certain amount of money being confiscated by Ukrainian police, money that belonged to Rustem A. and published the exact amount of money. 10/12

That amount is a perfect match for the sum listed in the court documents I found online, making it virtually impossible that they reference someone else. Other details match as well. 11/12
