Massive Resistance offensive in Gaza. Palestinian Resistance fighters have infiltrated the border for the first time in history and have taken control of areas in the Israeli settlement of Sderot.

This is not even the first time something like this happens: in 1987, four Palestinian Resistance fighters used hang-gliders to enter an IDF base and ended up killing 6 soldiers.

As for the rockets, it appears that the Iron Dome suffered a catastrophic failure. >300 Israelis wounded from the rockets alone. This is unprecedented.

I don’t think the Resistance even hoped for the level of Israeli failure here. Everyone from the Shin-Bet to the IDF to the Hebrew media had no idea what was going on for a full hour after the offensive began. This ought to demolish many of Israel’s self-aggrandizing myths.
