SitRep - 09/10/23 - Danish PM urges to keep supporting Ukraine

An overview of the daily events in Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Zelenskyi replaced the head of the Territorial Defense Forces, a good day for SSO and Lenin burning in Nova Kakhovka

As usual we start with Russian losses per 09/10/23 reported by the Ukrainian General Staff.

+350 men
+2 tanks
+3 APVs
+1 artillery system
+1 AD system Image
The SSO was very succesful the last couple of days. Here you find a compilation of high valuable Russian equipment going up in smoke.

SSO units in Kherson found an ammo truck and destroyed it
Also in the Kherson region, SSO units found a Russian base and destroyed at least one infantryman inside.
KHORNE group shared footage of them destroying a Russian 2S7 Pion
Near Novomykhailivka, the 79th brigade repelled a fairly large mechanized Russian attack.
The 14th brigade showed how a short-range Strela-10 air defense system destroyed several Russian drones
A high-ranking commander was caught by the 3rd separate assault brigade near Bakhmut.
The 12th assault brigade showed how they overtook a Russian position, finishing several Russian soldiers doing so.
The 109th batallion of the 10th mountain assault brigade eliminated a group of Russians at night near Berestove on the Soledar axis.
The 58th brigade assaulated Russian positions, forcing them to retreat. Russians even started shooting at each other while one almost killed himself with a grenade.
Let's continue with the general events. Danish PM Frederiksen appealed to NATO members to keep supporting Ukraine and not give in to war fatigue. This is exactly what Russia wants.
Denmark is also broadening the F-16 coalition.
Kuleba is still confident, US Congress wil vote in favor of giving renewed funding for aid to Ukraine.
Zelenskyi replaced the head of the TDF.
Russian representative for the UN Vasily Nebenzya hit another low.

Azerbaijjan will hand over more aid to Ukraine to recover its energy sector.

➡️Offensive operations towards Kopani continue
➡️AFU has increased its positions northeast of Novoprokopivka, following advances in recent days.
➡️The same goes for the area NW of Verbove

No significant changes on other fronts. The fighting southeast of Bakhmut continues both near Andriivka, Kurdyumivka and Klishchiivka.

In the north near Kupyansk the front is fairly stable and fighting has significantly decreased. Russians are intensifying attacks in Mar'inka.

Israel has continued to strike the Gaza Strip overnight. All events will be covered in this new daily thread.

An IDF spokesperson said that Israel had called up 100.000 reservists, preparing in the south to start ground operations against Hamas.

Hamas has claimed an attack on Israel. Mohammed Deif, leader of the military branch of Hamas, speaks of a new military operation called Operation al-Aqsa storm. Since this morning, 5,000 rockets are said to have been fired into Israel. Militants have also entered Israel from Gaza.
