SitRep - 11/10/23 - Avdiivka is very hot 🚭

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Heavy fighting is going on around Avdiivka, but Russia is also trying to advance near Mar'inka. So far fruitless.

As usual we start with gigantic Russian losses per 11/10/23 reported by the Ukrainian general staff.

+820 men
+34 tanks
+91 APVs (?!?) 😨
+18 artillery pieces
+1 MLRS
+1 AD system
+19 UAVs Image
General Tarnavskyi confirmed the big amount the Ukrainian forces destroyed during the last 24 hours. Mainly due to the Russian 'offensive' in Avdiivka.
On the left bank, Ukrainian DRG's are working and ambushed a Russian supply truck
Russian infantry and an ammunition site was destroyed with the use of cluster munition.
The 28th mechanized brigade showed a compilation of destroyed Russian equipment.
An abandoned Russian tank totally destroyed by Ukrainian SSO units.
The 82nd Air Assault Brigade using an (airburst?) FPV drone on Russian infantry.
Over to the general events. Starting with a lot of aid, firstly the UK.
Additionally the UK will send a special air defense platform.
Belgium will send some (likely 4) of their F-16's in 2025 following the replacement by F-35's.
Belgium will also create a fund and add it with taxes from frozen Russian assets. Well done Belgium
Zelenskyi attended the Ramstein-meeting in Brussels... after which even more aid was announced.
Finland announced more aid to Ukraine.
Norway joined the 'aid' club and announced more support to Ukraine.
Canada also announced more aid to Ukraine
Lithuania confirmed its recently pledged NASAMS launchers are on its way to Ukraine. A very important tool in air defense as NASAMS is one of the best in the world.
The US confirmed the aid package which was already assumed to be presented today.
The Netherlands, one of the most loyal friends of Ukraine since the start of the war once again sent aid.

Avdiivka

➑️Fighting mainly occurs north of Avdiivka near Krasnohorivka. Russians try to advance west into the fields and towards the waste disposal site. As far as we got confirmed. There is minor Russian progress, only in the open fields, a maximum of 400-500 meters, disputed. Image
There is a lot of footage from this axis which I will include to give you an idea of the scale of this attack. It is very big. So far, Ukrainians are well holding on

This is how many units Russia is willing to put into battle in a single attack. Imagine if Ukraine did have aerial superiority. They probably wouldn't dare to approach Ukrainian positions in such columns.

Israel has continued to strike the Gaza Strip overnight. All events will be covered in this new daily thread.

The Israeli army showed footage of an attack on a facility belonging to the head of the Hamas intelligence. At this moment, the IDF continues to strike Gaza.
According to an unofficial report, approximately 750 Israelis are currently missing, the Jerusalem Post reports.
