We should be honest about this: lots of people *wanted* it to be an Israeli air strike on a hospital. This is brutally clear. Many of those people are in the media, and many in politics. Their intentions are not good. I don't see the innocence in this grievous error.
You'll be able to tell by the apologies. There won't be many.

When Bernie Sanders ran for President, anyone who supported him became a "progressive." His Sanders Institute nonprofit has an active Fellows program that promotes the views of prominent supporters - including the Tulsi Gabbard, who posted a racist video this morning.
The profile there links to all her social channels, where you will now find the kind of disgusting nationalist crap that defines the extremist MAGA movement.
Yet the claim from Jane & Bernie Sanders is that the Fellows are "dedicated to transforming our democracy through the research, education, outreach and advancement of bold, progressive ideas and values."

Obviously, Scherzer and DeGrom have been crunch time flops - and that was the Mets big 2022 strategy. But when was the last time Alonso or Lindor got the big hit, the timely homer, drove in the big runs? Seems like August. The fact the NYM missed Marte to much is telling. #LGM
Great players, terrific seasons, the compiled numbers are impressive. But honestly, I'd rather have Marte or McNeil up in a big spot.
Also, Nimmo has been less effective this whole year. Probably influences Cohen's inclination to ink Aaron Judge with massive pile of cash. Some very tough off-season decisions for the Metties.

The problem with the NYT is that its leadership believes opposing barbaric fascism is "partisan."
Extremist right wing hatred is certainly baddish and may be worth covering. But partisanship is the true mortal sin in the Church of Eighth Avenue catechism.
Thus from behind their finely crafted cassocks, the entire political world appears to them as equally sinful. Whilst they alone are chaste.
