The X account .@guardianeco claims to share "news and comment on the world's most important environmental stories" - they obviously don't fact-check the content they share. It's a shame for @guardian that these kinds of wrong "stories" are posted as if they were true.
Maybe #TheGuardian should stop letting a "former lobby correspondent" write about scientific issues and allow renowned scientists to look at the facts.
At the end of this piece of misinformation, The Guardian asks the readers to pay for that. It couldn't get more ridiculous!
Modern zoos & aquariums matter! NO renowned & trustworthy conservationist, scientist, or expert doubts that - why? The great impact of these institutions is scientifically proven.
It's not a question of opinion whether zoos contribute to conservation. Let's have a look.
These are just a few examples of scientific publications that are easy to find and shared by us to show that refuting the claims of the Guardian's article is very easy.
Zoos are not the opposite of education but this article is the opposite of journalism.
