SitRep - 24/10/23 - Wave after wave near Avdiivka

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Fighting near Avdiivka continues, and Russia is trying to do everything it can to gain ground. Against any losses but it did have some success.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 24/10/23 reported by the Ukrainian general staff.

+810 men
+12 tanks
+16 APVs
+24 artillery systems
+3 MLRS
+1 AD systems

All drones that were supposed to attack Ukraine were destroyed. The amount of drones used in attacks decreased significantly. Either there is shortage, or Russia is stockpiling them for winter.
A Zoopark-1 radar destroyed
Border Guards with a compilation of destroyed Russian equipment.
A T-90, gone with the wind.
Great work from the Achilles unit / part of the 92nd mechanized. Lots of Russian artillery and heavy armor destroyed.

Let's continue with the general events. Ukraine has field tested a new ground kamikaze drone.
Slovakia will strengthen its border with Ukraine with German donated air defense systems
Ukraine's application to join the EU might be reviewed faster than expected.
Today, Zelenskyi met with the Danish Minister of Denmark.
The earlier pledged aid packages for Ukraine were once again confirmed by Scholz.
Stoltenberg says that Sweden might join NATO soon, which possibily opens the way of supplying JAS-39 Gripen fighters to Ukraine.
Russian heli attacks massively decreased after the attack on Berdyansk airport.

➡️Terrykon is not under Russian control but heavily contested. The northern part showed a Russian flag which was taken down by a Ukrainian drone. But Russian soldiers planting it, fled. The approaches/accesses are controlled by UA.
