2/ Here are pages from “Welcome to St. Hell,” a 2022 @Scholastic book that glamorizes gender transitioning to middle schoolers. (We’ve censored these pages as the original content could violate social media policies against sexual material):

3/ The following quotes are from “Melissa,” another pro-trans @Scholastic book for children ages 8–12 written by radical activist-author @lxgino.

4/ Here is an excerpt from a different book published by @Scholastic titled “Rick.” Marketed for children ages 8–12, it tells the story of a grandfather and grandchild coming out as trans to one another.

5/ As further evidence of how obscene these books are, @BraveBooksUS had a FB ad that included images from @Scholastic’s book, “Heartstopper,” which got rejected for depicting “people in explicit or suggestive positions or images that show nudity or cleavage.”

6/ Who is @Scholastic’s beloved author Alex Gino? Gino is a radical critical gender activist and self-described “fat femme” who calls for defunding law enforcement.

7/ Some assume that because @Scholastic is a world-renowned children’s publisher, these books we’ve highlighted are the exception. That is incorrect.

Scholastic prioritizes LGBTQIA+-themed books—including those that have obscene, graphic content.

8/ @Scholastic has published a list of their 100+ LGBTQIA+ books on their website. (This list is not exhaustive as we found many other LGBTQ-themed books not on it.)

9/ These books may appear innocent, which is how @Scholastic is able to mislead parents. Here is an example of a Scholastic LGBTQ+ picture book. Most parents would not imagine this award-winning story would focus on what appears to be grooming a little boy into dressing in drag.

10/ For many years, @Scholastic has been championed by educators as a trusted publisher of children’s content. This should no longer be the case. Scholastic is pushing sexualized and gender-confusing content for minors into schools and libraries.

What can YOU do about it?

11/ Download the PDF at that documents the inappropriate and sexualized children’s content published and distributed by @Scholastic. Share it with your school leaders, and insist that your school switches to an age-appropriate book fair with @SkyTreeFairs.skytreebookfairs.org
