SitRep - 07/11/23 - Explosions in Crimea

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion in Ukraine. There is positive news from the European Commissions regarding Ukraine's accession to the EU and explosions were reported in Crimea.

As usual we start with Russian losses.
Overnight, explosions were reported around Belbek airport and Novofedorivka (close to Saky airbase). Russian MoD claimed it shot down 17 (!) drones. Lets wait for satelite images.
Smoke rising from Taganrog air base. Earlier it became known that Russia moved a lot of its helicopter fleet to Taganrog after Berdyansk was struck by ATACMS which destroyed numerous Mi-8/Mi-24 and Ka-52 helicopters.
Close to Kreminna forest, a Russian heapclimber received some assistance to descend.
A Russian TOR air defense system at least damaged in the Zaporizhzia region.
Ukraine struck the center of occupied Donetsk. It reportedly was an education center for drone operators.
A compilation of destroyed equipment by Achilles unit of the 92nd mechanized brigade.
Let's continue with the general events. Fico, who opposes aid to Ukraine will not be able to halt supplies from Slovak companies to Ukraine.
Additional NASAMS systems have been delivered to Ukraine and are now on combat duty. We are likely talking about the one recently pledged from Lithuania.
Dutch F-16's are heading for Romania and meanwhile have already landed. They will serve for training purposes of both NATO and Ukrainian pilots.
Hungary will most likely block Ukraine's accession to the EU due to -what they say- discrimination against Hungarian minorities in Ukraine.
This comes around the news that the European Commission will likely speak in favor of granting Ukraine the status of candidate for accession.
Denmark allocated more financial aid to restore Mykolaiv and its region
The Democrats in the US Senate blocked the bill put up by Republicans to aid Israel. They want to have aid for Ukraine included.
