SitRep - 08/11/23 - Activity on the left bank

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Ukrainian troops have a strong foothold in some parts of the left bank. Also the start of negotiations with the EU on accession is confirmed.

As usual we start with Russian losses
In the Luhansk region, a 'LPR' official was blown up in his car.
In the Kharkiv region, a Russian TOR was destroyed
On the left bank, a Russian car was destroyed
A D-30 howitzer close to Kozachi Laheri was destroyed
Occupied left bank, you are not allowed to park!
Also left bank, a Russian EW/Jamming system on top of a Tigr-vehicle destroyed
Three BMP-2's destroyed in the area of Pershotravneve
Over to the general events. France allocated more money for Ukraine
First steps in the US are taken to transfer frozen Russian assets to Ukraine.
Belgium is already a step ahead and is transferring a big amount of money to a fund for Ukraine using tax profits of frozen assets.
The US is not pushing Ukraine to negotiate with Russia.
The new Slovakian government didnt approve an aid package which was prepared by the previous government
Big news. The European Commission recommended to start negotations with Ukraine on EU accession.
Rheinmetall will produce ~100.000 rounds of 122-mm for Ukraine.
A new group of Ukrainian soldiers went to Spain for training on the MIM-23 HAWK systems.
The US only has $1.1 billion left for replenishment aid to Ukraine. There is a big need to agree on a new package.

Synkivka-Kupyansk

➡️Russians have stepped up offensive operations towards Synkivka. Coming from Lyman Pershyi and Pershotravneve. So far without success but Ukrainian soldiers describe the situation as tense. Image
Avdiivka

➡️Fighting near the railway tracks west of Krasnohorivka continues.
➡️Russian troops also try to improve positions southwest of Sjeverne.

So far, I haven't seen any visual footage of Russians controlling Terrykon. Therefore it is still contested on the map. Image
Robotyne-Novoprokopivka

➡️Initial reports of Ukrainian troops improving their positions west of Robotyne, so far without visual confirmation.
➡️N/NW of Verbove it is reported that Ukrainian forces have pushed out Russians from a stronghold an improved their positions ~1km east. Image
Kherson-Krynky

➡️No map changes reported, but Ukrainian troops maintain their bridgeheads and positions.
➡️Russian sources claim Ukrainian artillery, EW-systems and even air defense are operating close to the front lines, supressing Russian reinforcements. Image
