After the Houthi drone hit a school in Eilat, schools have been closed in the Red Sea resort town.
Eilat is where many of the survivors of Oct7th are staying after Hamas absolutely destroyed their homes and communities

Update: The IDF didn't use a pressure cooker method against the home. Hazem's brother and another man inside the home tried to throw an explosive device toward troops, but failed and the device exploded near them instead

Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was killed this morning after being hit in the head by gunfire during clashes between IDF troops and armed Palestinians.
During armed clashes such as these, where both sides use live fire, its never clear who fired the bullet. Palestinian Islamic Jihad militants put out a statement earlier claiming to have used live fire and IEDs against IDF troops.
Like the bullet that killed 18 year old Hanan Khaddor who was coming back from studying, her death needs to be investigated.

It's been 1 year since Operation Guardian of the Walls. What's changed? Not much. Religious incitement on the Temple Mount-still happening. Sheikh Jarrah-still an issue. West Bank tensions & attacks-they've increased in the past month & a half. Gaza tensions- still apparent.
BUT. Hamas has not fired any major barrage of rockets toward the Israeli homefront, especially toward the big cities. They want to keep the connection between Gaza and Jerusalem but do not want a significant IDF retaliation, despite what Sinwar is saying.
The Israeli government is also different, led by PM Bennett, and like the IDF, is not aching for another war just yet.

What happened: Border police officer injured at Damascus Gate in Jerusalem, attacker shot. Infiltration into the settlement of Tekoa in the West Bank, armed Palestinian shot dead.
Another Palestinian shot dead after trying to infiltrate into Israel through the security fence.

Reports of gunfire heard in Tel Aviv, in several locations of Dizengoff Street in the center of the city.
At least four people injured. Attack took place near Ben Gurion blvd. Number of injuries likely to rise, Dizengoff is one of the main streets in the city with restaurants and bars every few meters
