SitRep - 13/11/23 - More Gepards for Ukraine

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. US bought 60 Gepards from Jordan which are highly needed for Ukrainian air defense during winter.

As usual we start with Russian losses.
During the day, explosions were noted in Tokmak.
A group of Russian soldiers tried to hide in an already destroyed BTR near Avdiivka but a Ukrainian FPV flew right inside of it, leaving the Russian infantry no chance. They have probably either been killed or heavily injured.

On the left bank, Russians are being targeted left and right. Here, in Malokakhovka a site with Russian equipment was found and hit.
Lets continue with the general events. The training center in Romania for F-16 pilots has officially been opened. Ukrainian pilots are not (yet) training there but this is expected to start very soon
Norway allocates more money to organizations to organize humanitarian aid.
In a war, both sides lose men and women. The Economist claims, based off US data, that up to 120.000 Ukrainian men and women were wounded throughout this war. A total of 70.000 would have been killed.
The US bought a big amount of 60 Gepards (Dutch mod. Cheetah) for Ukraine. They are highly needed for the upcoming winter where Russia is expected to attack with a lot of missiles and drones.
More air defense is also coming from Germany, that will provide Ukraine with 2 more IRIS-T systems by the end of the year. This was already pledged earlier.
Germany also sent a new batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
Hungary is not interested in Ukraine, global peace nor a stable Europe but only in itself. Therefore, it blocked another tranche to Ukraine.

➡️I slightly reassessed the situation after footage confirms that initial AFU gains near Berkhivka (reservoir) have been mostly reversed. It seems like the AFU has stepped down offensive operations in the area due to lack of progress. Image
On the left bank, no changes were recorded. Ukrainian units keep rotating and adding more troops to the parts where they maintain a foothold. Yesterday, Russians tried to counterattack in the forest area south of Krynky, initially succeeded but had to fall back not much later. Image
This morning out of a sudden several Russian state media RIA and TASS published a message stating that Russian forces retreated from their forward positions in the Kherson region. Later, they both retracted the message. But it is at least curious
Russian sources describe the situation near Krynky still as 'tense'.
Fighting in the forest area south of Krynky was recorded by Russian units of the 810th Guards infantry brigade, responsible for most of the defense there
Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops use the fog to transfer more troops to the left bank and get more supplies over the Dnipro.
