SitRep - 14/11/23 - Avdiivka scrap heap

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Russia has sent more reinforcements to Avdiivka to force a breaktrough. There is continuous fighting while Russia commits more and more infantry.

As usual we start with Russian losses
Overnight, Russia once again attacked Ukraine. It seems that lately, Ukraine is actually able to shoot down a lot of these drones, mostly aimed for the southern regions.

For the second day in a row, near Moscow, a drone hit a machine building plant. A Ukrainian drone was spotted early in the morning heading for the Moscow direction.
The 110th destroyed yet another tank south of Avdiivka.
A Russian car with soldiers inside was targeted by an FPV drone. This is one of the very few times the hit is actually filmed from inside a vehicle.
Ukrainian spokesman Shtupun claimed yet another Su-25 was shot down, in the Avdiivka direction.
A military unit in Russia reportedly caught fire.
Let's continue with the general events. Stoltenberg once again emphasized that all Ukrainian allies need to step up and keep continuing their support.
Kuleba talked a bit about the inability of the EU to supply Ukraine with 1 million shells. It turned out to be big words.
Germany has updated their list with aid provided to Ukraine. Among them important Bandvagn 206 all terrain vehicles.
The German government also paid for a new contract with Rheinmetall to deliver Ukraine 25 Leopard 1A5 tanks, recovery vehicles and training tanks.
Fedorov once again stated that Ukrainian drones are now being mass produced. He talked in detail about naval drones. We recently saw some tests of torpedo looking Ukrainian naval drones.
After Thanksgiving, new US aid for Ukraine is likely considered.

Avdiivka

➡️AFU still controls Stepove, which Russians tried to storm 2 times the last 48 hours. Both attempts failed.
➡️South of Avdiivka near Vodyane, Russians did another attempt to come closer to Sjeverne, but also this attack was repelled.
➡️Russia committed new brigades. Image
Near Vodyane, the fields are full of burned and destroyed Russian heavy equipment, mostly armoured carriers. Russia is now switching to attacks with smaller infantry groups.
Kherson-Krynky

➡️Initial reports suggest that Russia has set up new defensive lines near the M-14 highway, it seems they accept that they can no longer drive the AFU out of Krynky and will try to hold back Ukrainian forces there.
➡️AFU brought in SSO and Marine reinforcements. Image
Meanwhile the AFU with all available means such as drones and EW/Jamming complexes is hunting down every Russian still hiding in Krynky. It is assumed Russia has no longer presence in the settlement itself but more likely around it.
Troop movement on the left bank is immediately noticed by Ukrainian drone operators after which FPV drones are sent to destroy.
Zelenskyi reported after a stavka that new equipment and air defense was brought to the Kherson region. This was already reported by Russians days ago when they were complaining about lack of aviation support. Most of their support is artillery/MLRS
