(995-1081)
"In February of the first year of Zhidao 995, Puaduli came to pay tribute with gifts. Later, in the leap month of the second year of Xianping 999, another Zeila merchant ship arrived in Guangzhou
offering four ivory plants from Puat Tili, two hundred catties of incense, and a glass vase each of thousand-year-old dates, white sugar, and grapes. Forty bottles of rose water were given as a gift to Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty when he ascended the throne"
"Zeila officially sent envoys in the sixth year of Xianping 1003.
Song Huiyao records in June of this year:
"The king Asu sent envoys such as Boluoqin and Samoni. Come and pay tribute. It was the Chengtian Festival of the same year, and his envoys, including Pu Duan and Samoni
were all present in the pavilion. They were given fur coats, and a banquet was prepared." The Samadhi here is the transliteration of Somalia, and his envoys received a grand reception in the Song Dynasty."
