Who is the Sabireen Movement & How did Iran undermine the Palestinian resistance?
🧵A Thread
Sabireen was founded in 2014 by Hisham Salim who split from PIJ
The group was funded and supported by Iran & Hezbollah.
In a clip from 2014, the leader of Sabireen is seen praising Khomeini and the "Islamic Revolution" in Iran
In another clip the leader of the movement is admitting to be fully dependent on support from Iran & Hezbollah
In another clip he's seen repeating an old Khomeinist slogan
"The road to Al Quds passes through Karbala"
The group marks an Iranian attempt to infiltrate Gaza, after Hamas choose to not support Bashar Al Assad in Syria.
The group's members mostly consisted of PIJ and Hamas members who switched over.
The group was funded with 10 million dollars monthly.
Iran naturally seeks to have proxy groups, because both PIJ and Hamas either were neutral or rejected Iran's policies, they founded the Sabireen Movement.
PIJ publicly issued an condemnation of the Iranian Sabireen group.
Hamas would later ban and dissolve the group.
Iran's attempt failed because there was a lack of Palestinian sympathy for the Khomeinist ideology.
Israeli officials were very happy.
They hoped it would be a way to deplete Palestinian weapons by letting them use it against each other.
Once again, Iran served Israeli interests.
Hamas however foiled their plans and thus let Hamas stay independent.
In addition to the above Iran also cut funding to Hamas by 15£ Million Pounds at the same time, rerouting the money to the Sabireen movement instead.
⚡Iranian Officials Admitting to Helping the U.S. in its invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan
Former Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad:
America has said that Iran is the axis of evil. They made such an insult when Iran was the country that cooperated with them the most in Afghanistan and Iraq.
⚡Documenting U.S. Support for Iraqi Iran-Backed Militias Fighting in Syria
First and foremost, these militias were Iran's main gateway to assisitng the U.S. in the invasion of Iraq
During this time period, they both trained military and given heavy support. They patrolled the streets of Basra on behalf of the coallition forces.
These U.S. trained militas would later fight side by side with the Americans and attack the Iraqi Resistance that were fighting the U.S. Invasion in Fallujah and elsewhere.
The occupation soldiers wanders around in Gaza, with drones over their head 24/7 give them false assurances that there is nothing to be worried about.
And then the suprise comes all of a sudden. They die. But how?
Naturally in a war like this the weaker side has to resort to innovative and unusual attacks.
An example of such 100 days into the war, Al Qassam released this footage of an ambush.
Here we see a Al Qassam field commander monitiroing a camera as the occupation soldiers enter, he gives the order to attack.
This is not the only kind of suprise attack.
This is not the only kind of suprise attack.
It was when the occupation attacked the Al Maghazi Refugee Camp. The occupation forces were ready to blow up a house, with their force mostly present inside the house.
Then Al Qassam fighters show up, and start firing RPG projectiles into the place, triggering the pre planted bombs inside. The attack killed 21 IOF soldiers in one go.
These kind of operations and traps indicate that Al Qassam has a great understanding of the enemies movements especially from an intelligence point of view.
