SitRep - 20/11/23 - A new small US aid package and Lloyd Austin in Kyiv

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Austin visited Ukraine and a bit later a small US aid package was announced. Also the AFU counterattacked near Avdiivka.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 20/11
The GUR reported its units destroyed two expensive radars in the Kursk region.
On the left bank, east of Krynky, the AFU is targeting more and more Russian equipment.
Let's continue with the general events. Secretary of Defense Austin visited Ukraine and had a meeting with Zelenskyi a bit later.
The US also announced a $100 million aid package for Ukraine mostly consisting ammunition.
Finland is ready to close its complete eastern border with Russia.
Congratulations Joe Biden.
Japan is allocating another €160 million in recovery/humanitarian aid for Ukraine.
94 Ukrainian soldiers were returned to Ukraine.
Hungary handed over €3 million worth of medical aid to Ukraine.
More aid coming from Germany, which is stepping up lately.

Avdiivka

➡️North of Stepove, the AFU has counterattacked and regained some previously lost positions in the gray zone. Preliminary info states the attack took place in the area near the railway tracks eastward to Krasnohorivka. Image
Kherson-Pishchanivka

➡️Geolocated footage confirms the AFU has presence on the left bank of the Konka river near the railway track leading into Poima-Pishchanivka. Before, it was assumed that the AFU only held positions on the right bank. Image

➡️No confirmed changes
➡️UA sources claim further operations are happening in the southern forest area towards the M-14.
➡️RU sources claim AFU troops have rotated forces and also brought in new ones. It is assumed Ukraine has ~200-300 soldiers operating there. Image
Since Russia isn't able to bring in troops and heavy equipment really close to Krynky due to FPV drone threats, it is massively trying to hit the Ukrainian logistic routes with heavy artillery and MLRS.
