SitRep - 21/11/23 - A visit to the front in the east

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Russia in Ukraine. We visited the front in the east, while fighting near Avdiivka continues unabated and tomorrow a new Ramstein meeting is held..

As usual we start with Russian losses per 21/11
Overnight, Russians attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles. Luckily most of them were shot down, but S-300 missiles did hit targets inside Ukraine.
A Russian BM-21 Grad MLRS destroyed on the left bank
The AFU hit a location in Starobesheve and killed lots of Russian military personnel
In Crimea, a fire was reported near the Saki Thermal Power Plant
FPV drones are modern warfare.
Lets continue with the general events. Pistorius arrived on a visit to Kyiv.
He announced a big aid package to Ukraine not much later which includes 4 IRIS-T systems (!)
Also Moldovan president Sandu went to Kyiv
Charles Michel also arrived in Kyiv.
Michel said that the EU is workin on a legal framework to direct interest on frozen Russian assets to Ukraine.
On the Day of Dignity and Freedom, Zelenskyi published a video appealing to Ukrainian citizens and also the whole world.
In an interview, Zelenskyi highlighted a Russian plan called Maidan-3 intended to remove Zelenskyi from power.
Japan handed over new humanitarian aid.

Several Russian sources today published information about Ukrainian movement on the left bank, as well as how the Russians are doing in that area which is, to put it mildly, not that good.
Lots of wounded, a lack of aerial dominance and fire support and even firing on their own units. The Russians are having a bad time defending against attacking Ukrainian forces on the left bank.
Russian source Romanov went against Shoigu's claim that all Ukrainian efforts to cross the Dnipro were 'repelled'.
Here, Russian infantry is complaining about Ukrainian FPV drones targeting their vehicles on the M-14 highway which Ukraine is aiming for.

We woke up at 3:30am and met the press-officer of the 28th Mechanized Brigade in Kramatorsk. We had to move under the cover of darkness so as to avoid being targeted by the Russian FPV drones now plaguing Ukrainian defenders on the frontline....
According to the officer, FPV drones are responsible for the vast majority of casualties now sustained by Ukrainian soldiers in eastern Ukraine. After meeting the drone operators, we jumped in the back of their flat-bed truck and set out towards the cold and snowy frontline....
