Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported “concerns” that the Israeli military has stolen organs from Palestinian corpses during Israel’s war on Gaza.
Corpses near the Al-Shifa hospital found "missing cochleas and corneas as well as other vital organs like livers, kidneys, and hearts."
Israel has a history of stealing organs from the bodies of dead Palestinians.
Orly and Guy Return with Answers:
In December 2009, a 2000 interview with the chief pathologist at the L. Greenberg National Institute of Forensic Medicine, Yehuda Hiss, was released in which he admitted taking organs from the corpses of Palestinians without their families' permission.
"We took corneas, skin, heart valves, and bones... Almost everything was done unofficially to a large extent... And permission was not sought from the families." - Yehuda Hiss
Boström stated he "was in the region [Palestine] at that time, and on several occasions, UN employees contacted me concerned about the developments. The individuals who contacted me said that organ theft certainly happened, but they were prevented from doing anything about it."
"Palestinian young people were disappearing in the areas, and five days later they appeared back in the villages with an autopsy done on them against the will of the families." Donald Boström
The spokesperson for the Israeli Ministry of Health, Einav Shimron Greenboim, issued a statement saying, "The practice mentioned in the investigation is an old story that ended years ago."
Following the explosion of the organ theft scandal in 2009, the Israeli government tried to evade the proven charges against it. However, such necroviolent practices were upheld both by the Israeli government and the Supreme Court.

🧵What happens when the head of a major pro-Palestine organization is linked to Israeli intelligence and Zionist institutions?
This new investigation by professor David Miller for MintPress News breaks down explosive revelations about Ben Soffa, the National Secretary of the UK’s Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), and why they matter for the Palestinian rights movement.
From ties to a former Israeli spy to the censorship of legends like Leila Khaled and Palestine action co-founder Huda Amouri, these facts raise urgent questions about transparency, integrity, and who controls the narrative in solidarity spaces.
🧵The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) – an organization that presents itself as a civil rights group – has come out in strong support of the Trump administration’s decision to abduct Columbia University student organizer Mahmoud Khalil.
“We firmly believe there should be swift and severe consequences for those who provide material support to foreign terrorist organizations, incite violence in support of terrorist activities, or conceal their identities in order to harass and intimidate Jewish individuals and institutions with impunity,” the ADL wrote in a statement.
“We also hope that this action serves as a deterrent to others who might consider breaking the law on college campuses or anywhere,” they added.
Mahmoud Khalil was kidnapped by ICE and sent to Louisiana. He faces deportation and having his green card revoked.
🧵A new House bill – “The Red, White, and Blueland Act of 2025” authorizes the president to “enter into negotiations with the Government of Denmark to purchase or otherwise acquire Greenland,” and to rename the island “Red, White, and Blueland.”
If passed, it will add to Trump’s growing hunger to acquire more territory. Trump has previously floated the idea of invading both Panama and Gaza, while invasions of other neighbors, including Cuba and Venezuela, have been discussed in the media.
MintPress fills you in on this bizarre story.
A new bill introduced to the US House of Representatives calls for Trump to acquire Greenland and change its name to “Red, White, and Blueland.”
Trump has proposed the US purchase or annex Greenland from Denmark.
🧵There are many controversial characters inside Washington, but few have had a career quite as destructive as US government official, Victoria Nuland. From her earliest days helping to rip apart the Soviet Union and paving the way for gangster capitalism in Russia, to helping to oversee the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, to engineering a coup in Ukraine, Nuland has been at the forefront of aggressive US foreign policy for over three decades.
MintPress highlights some of her darkest moments.
2014 Ukraine Coup
Nuland flew to Kiev and even handed out cookies to protestors in the city’s main square.
🧵Think tanks are central to how Washington works. Crafting policy and pushing for new legislation, these groups serve as the brains of the US government. However, so many of them are literally in the pay of foreign governments, creating a huge conflict of interest. MintPress breaks down the ten think tanks taking the most foreign government cash. All figures come from the Think Tank Funding Tracker.
🧵After October 7th, 2023, Israel accelerated its war against Islam, specifically by targeting institutions such as mosques and cemeteries in an attempt to subdue the Palestinian people not only in Gaza but across occupied Palestine. However, whether it be the targeting of mosques or restricting Palestinians from praying, none of these actions are new.
In these latest sets of slides, MintPress explores how over the years the Israeli occupation attacked Islamic holy sites.
Israel has destroyed at least 800 mosques and 60 cemeteries since October 7, 2023.
