The picture on the article is misleading. Other pictures of the child in question show that the other half of his face is painted red, black and red being the team's colors.
The media is really trying to smear a child over this.

What a bully.

Hey @carronJphillips, were you aware at the time of publication that the little boy who you framed as a racist for wearing blackface wasn't wearing blackface, but the double red and black paint to support the Chiefs?

For the idiots in my mentions who are treating this as some harmless act because the other side of his face was painted red, I could make the argument that it makes it even worse.
Why is @Deadspin @carronJphillips trying to ruin this little kid’s life? They’re accusing him of blackface but conveniently left out his full face which was painted for the game
Deadspin published a hit piece on a little kid for wearing face paint of his team colors.
They even used a camera angle to make it look like he was wearing blackface.
I hope he sues them into oblivion.

This Deadspin’s author failed to provide full context of the photo presented in the article, which is a boy wearing face paint of which the two colors (black and red) represent the Kansas City Chiefs NFL team.
"Below are the different colors used by the Kansas City Chiefs. In each colored box you will find the hex color code, which is made up of the 6 letters/numbers beside the pound sign."

@CynicalPublius I believe that Google interprets this from an authoritative perspective. The authority is the mainstream press.
The press is using Google, and Google is parroting their thinking in answer.
