I spent 7 years drinking, and partying every weekend as soon as I hit 18 (all to fit in, and because everyone was doing it)...
Then, after a rough breakup, my decision making went straight to 💩…

🥶 One DUI and 3 drunk in public citations in just three months.

Rock bottom had arrived and I was DEEP in it.

Climbing out of it was rough.

I look back and realize there were three things that kept me stuck:

How to make 20K/mo. revenue

1. I spent over a year running growth/marketing for a newsletter (for free).

2. Collected social proof by helping people

3. Posted free automation tutorials for six months & positioned myself as an "SME" on LinkedIn (70% revenue/clients)
4. Leads flooded my inbox.

I charge a minimum of $3K per client. (avg. $8K) and offered money-back guarantee.

If they didn't recoup their investment, I'd give them their $ back.

This isn't a sexy post.

It was hard fu****g work.
I haven't had to return any money to date. (Thankfully).

Here are 4 Key Tips to Create Effective SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
1. Bottom-up approach:

Have employees or VA’s?

They should have the authority to document any inefficiencies and pass them along up the ladder.
2. Always use the best solution possible. SOPs are always evolving, and continuously improved.

3. Your business should have an SOP for every procedure.

Don’t limit yourself to writing documentation only for current inefficiencies.

The first 3 months were running my last digital marketing agency were TOUGH.

I was burnt out, and considered quitting many times.

With six previous biz failures, I couldn't let it happen again.

Buckled down & did the following 👇🏼
Documented everything.

If I handed these SOPs to anybody off the street, they'd be able to implement it.

Five months later, I hit 10K in monthly profit and had an eight-person remote team.
If I hadn't delegated & automated, none of this would have happened.

A few other reasons why this was possible:

Increased my prices.

Dropped low paying clients.

Specialized & worked only with startups, enterprise, and e-commerce clients.
