This is one of the darkest moments for me in the war against Russia.

I just returned from visiting many our friends fighting in Donetsk region, and we had long discussions on the war, and geopolitics around it.

Authentic thoughts from Ukraine's frontlines, noted in this 🧵 Image
I will kick it off with the fact that many Ukrainian military actually closely follow the news in the world, and know how it affects them.

Specifically, they follow border blocade and confirm they have volunteer military aid stuck in there.
They geniuinly don't understand WHY fellow Poles would block the biggest logistics border to Ukraine, a country at war.

Ukraine is especially weak now for political game, given it's being attacked with ballistic missiles and drones every day and night, not even mentioning arty.
No country can defeat Russia these days on its own, except the US possibly. That is why Ukraine needs the support, and it got a lot of support. Russia is strong.

Not every military operation was perfect for us, but this is exactly how any other country would perform. This is war
This is war and all of us are extremely thankful that we are not left 1x1 with this monster russia. This is obvious that if the world won't supply Ukraine with ammo, Ukraine will fall in a matter of weeks.

At this stage, to hold the line, you need enormous amounts of ammo.
Not a single country can outproduce russia in this case, and not a single country can afford to sacrifice as many men as russia did to conquer Ukraine.

If russia takes over, the world will see another and another Bucha, Mariupol, Marinka filled with our corpses.
Many fail to realize that russian invasion is not a case for our government to solve solely, but also to each and every citizen. Russia is going all-in on this war, and it touches everyone.

Moreover, it's a national security problem for so many countries in Europe.
Morerover, it's ideological war - dictatorship against freedom and democracy. To me, freedom is the dearest. Infact, this is the only thing worth fighting for.

I get it that many people have the luxury to switch onto the next thing, but we Ukrainians and supporters - we can't.
Our lives are at stake because most of us won't be able to survive under Russian government, pushing us as colonized meat into the meatgrinder for invading other European countries.

I am sad to acknowledge that people in Europe still don't understand that this war is not local.
So, this is combined with extreme conditions in the frontlines. We literally saw on drone livestream how hundreds of russians push our defense line.

Russia has a lot of men to send to assaults at Ukrainian trenches, mostly prisoners from Storm-Z.
This is also combined with russian Shahed drones and ballistic missiles targeting our infrastructure sites in our peaceful cities. Most military servicemen have their families in those peaceful cities, and they are significantly worried about what Russia will do this winter.
The production of Shahed drones has ramped up significantly, making it possible for Russia to produce 700-1000 drones a month. They have already started using them - e.g. latest attack was ~75 drones at once in all directions.

They really do a lot of damage if they hit.
We have talked to many commanders, and they say that at this stage of war, we must admit that Ukraine's fighters have been really heroic in standing against russia.

Moreover, we even did successful OFFENSIVES on tactical and strategic level.
This is unique thing to achieve without air superiority, naval fleet, not enough artillery ammo, not enough air defense... Ukraine held itself against all odds.

Still, Ukraine is already facing cruel reality of not being able to launch successful offensives without more supplies
The war at this stage is VERY active, but it's extremely hard for both sides to break through the defense.

Each position in the trench is being assaulted almost every hour, but with no to little gains - like literally meters.
I have massive respect for each and every country, community and individual supporting Ukraine. This tells me a lot about our shared values of freedom, liberty and compassion.

Thank you for this.
Ukraine can't win on its own. We can win if we stand together, united by shared values against the dictates of violence Russia is pushing.

Unite and make your impact against Russian invasion. I have seen how our initiative to get tech devices to Ukrainian defenders saves lives.
We will stand for freedom. It's not over yet, and I think we are still far from over.

I am afraid this will drag for another decade, but I don't see other choice for myself given my values. I will help Ukraine fight for freedom any way I can, until Ukraine wins.

I am shocked! You folks are still around and still support Ukraine!

Yesterday night, I have been trying to wrap my head around why. Here are the authentic thoughts from Ukraine 🧵

TLDR: I am in awe of Ukraine's military supporters, but I question humanitarian policies.

Read. Image
Each month, we at @dzygaspaw, analyze the data on donations and expenses. Only in September, we received ~170.000$ in donations and spent every penny and more.

This is HUGE if you recall me in April 2022 - on my personal initiative to support my friends defending Ukraine. Image
The support for Ukraine's military is not stalled from the public, I can definitely see that and confirm with data.

Only in September 2023, we received small donations from 36 countries, and all these are from private donors contributing 50$.

I admire this very much.

I just watched one documentary on Ukrainian humanitarian mission in Georgia in 1993. I did some research!

Back then, Ukrainian Air Force saved lives of 7000+ civilian Georgians running from Russia bombing their cities.

Familiar, isn’t it?

A thread 🧵 Image
In 1993, Russia fueled the war against Georgia, sent “peacekeepers” to raid cities, and bombed some Georgian cities with planes.

The civilians in there were trapped, and tried to find refuge in the mountains where russian planes could not reach them. Image
Refugees were freezing in the mountains. They could not go back to bombing, and could not go further because they would freeze on higher altitudes.

Georgian government was hopeless after their attempts to rescue those people. They called ALL to help them save civilian lives. Image

I think, transparency is the key in running a charity.

I have learnt this in the recent 556 days since the first time I received a donation.

A thread on transparency in Ukraine charities and @dzygaspaw in particular 🧵 Image
The morality is crystal clear. When donating to charities, I consider:

🔍 Are they legit? Registered? Transparent about funds?
👥 How do they help? Efficient and effective methods?

We went into more detail on that here -

But the transparency! 🧵dzygaspaw.com/how-to-choose-…
I viewed this from the perspective of donor. As a donor, I am interested in knowing more about the charity, how they operate and the impact they make with my donation.

Putin is a pedophile!

This is serious. This thread has the evidence. Putin is a pedo, and he is not even trying to hide it.

RT this and reply - Russians would hate to see the truth.

Exposing Vladimir Putin as homo pedo guy in this 🧵 Image
I will start with the most famous one - the video when Putin in 2006 kisses young boy’s belly for no reason.

President Putin was slightly tipsy going through the Kremlin square. He has seen the smallest kid and went straight to him, lifted his shirt and kissed him in the belly.
Then, Putin ran away ASAP and everyone seemed to forget this until MORE AND MORE graphic footage started to appear of Putin kissing babies.

Putin’s pedophilia was the reason he was not qualified for Foreign Intelligence job in KGB. KBG had all the material on him. Image

War must come to Russia - en masse.

I think, one of the key elements to finishing this war is bringing it deep inside Russia.

Also, I think, it would be fair for an average Moscow citizen to taste what they are pushing or ignoring in their foreign policy.

Thoughts from 🇺🇦 - 🧵
For more than 500 days, Russia terrorizes Ukraine, occupies cities, creates mass graves, tortures and rapes Ukrainians.

Moreover, Russia launches suicide drones and their top-notch ballistic missiles onto Ukrainian peaceful cities. The whole war is in Ukraine, not in Russia.
That’s why over 80% of Russians support the war - because they don’t see the consequences.

They don’t see their cities bombed, they don’t see their relatives in mass graves, they don’t run for shelter in the middle of the night under suicide drones attack.

Yet.

Day 513.

Charity is not easy. It’s not always fancy, usually it’s exactly the opposite.

Let me break down a few things I have noticed while running a charity for Ukrainian Military 🧵 Image
‼️ Transparency is the key ‼️

Given I don’t come from any non profit background, this is very obvious to me - since I have only donated to transparent charities which are able to display where the funds go to, how much they have raised and what is their operational expense.
I have said it many times before and will say again. IMO really a lot of organizations / volunteers don’t take it seriously - which creates the seed of doubt.

It’s not that hard to keep an Excel sheet with all the donations and expenses - at least - and publish it online.
