Let's start at the beginning:

The story of Pixelvault started in May 2021 with the mint of Punks Comic Issue #1.

10,000 comics were minted for 0.2 ETH each.

Game theory was introduced from the get-go: Buyers could hold, burn or stake their comic for rewards.

Fast forward 9 months and Pixelvault did one of the biggest raises in the bull market.

@Gfunkera86 commented the raise and described the 3 pillars of PV: "community empowerment, decentralized governance, and true digital ownership."

The ecosystem was flourishing and growing back then.

MetaHeroes were trading for $18k, and the rare core characters were sitting at a $300k floor.

That is roughly 15x Pudgy Penguins at today's prices.

There was another massive part of the ecosystem:

Planets! There were 9 planets plus the moon, adding another 160k NFTs!

Each planet was governed by its own DAO, and together, they formed the UPDAO (United Planets DAO).

At this point, critics became louder and argued that there were too many NFTs in the PV ecosystem and that it was too complex

I haven't even described all the NFTs in PV back then.

Some of you might remember @economist explaining the mint pass game theory.

Before we go to 2023, here are two side notes:

1️⃣ MetaHeroes integrated Chainlink VRF for the mint to guarantee truly random distribution.

2️⃣ PV started the mint pass meta back then to keep gas costs low and add another layer of game theory.

Time for a quick break and some eye candy.

Let's look at Battle Plan, the flagship game of Reboot.

Battle Plan is a 3v3 auto-brawler that uses the IP of the MetaHeroes.

To play the game, you need game credits, which can be purchased for $GG and earned in-game.

Battle Plan runs on Arbitrum Nova.

It is the first game, but not the only one that will launch on Reboot.

PV has acquired Wolf Game back in August and announced its plans to integrate it on Reboot.

Let's quickly touch on one of the most important things! Is the game good?

I 've been enjoying Battle Plan a lot. The animations are polished and the gameplay is smooth.

I had lots of fun theory-crafting builds and I see the potential for competitive play & streaming.

Time for the token part: $GG.

Before discussing the distribution, let's talk about the use case for the token.

The key use for the token is purchasing Game Credits = gameplay sessions.

Besides that, there are 5 more use cases.

Okay, but how do I get $GG?

There are many ways to get the token.

First is converting the already existing $POW and $PUNKS tokens.

1 POW = 0.41 GG
1 PUNKS = 0.75 GG

However, the token unlocks over a year unless you convert it directly into Game Credits.

Next up are the planets I mentioned at the beginning of this thread.

Depending on the rarity, they get between 1071 and 59023 GG tokens.

The planets will become soulbound tokens and unlock GG over 2 years linearly.

Alternatively, you can immediately burn your planet to claim 25% of its token allocation.

The remaining 75% of tokens get added to the community pool.

Broadly speaking, that community pool gets distributed to those vesting the planets over 2 years as a bonus.

2 years is a lot of time. But there is a way to accelerate the token unlock.

The DOTs (Designated Observational Travelers), which are another collection in the PV ecosystem, accelerate the unlock

There are 7 evolution stages of a DOT. Higher evo = faster unlock.
