It regenerates your entire biological system at the quantum level

Here’s why you should RELIGIOUSLY expose most of your skin to sunlight between sunrise and 10 AM

Human beings are diurnal creatures

We evolved to rise with the sun and be asleep soon after it sets

We’re also circadian creatures who operate on biological clocks that are dictated by the sun

You’re arguing with the very source of all life on this planet since the beginning of time

AM sunlight, starting from sunrise, is the foundation of human health

It’s the fountain of youth

Below, you’ll understand why I’ve put it on that level of importance
Morning sunlight contains a broad spectrum of light wavelengths

The distribution ranges from approximately 250 to 700 nm covering violet, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red

As the initially sun rises, it’s spectrum is mostly red and orange due to Rayleigh Scattering

When sunlight interacts with the atmosphere at this time, it causes other wavelengths to disperse because it’s coming in at an angle

Every aspect of your biology evolved to soak up the red light spectrum

The ATPase in mitochondria

Your non-visual photoreceptors

Gray brain matter through NIR light

This time of day is regeneration mode, and it perfectly syncs your circadian clocks accordingly
Morning exposure to deep red light (670 nm) improves declining eyesight with just one 3 minute session

It’s clear that the worst way to begin your morning is by being stuck inside surrounded by artificial light

Nothing compares to being outside with most of your skin exposed to the sun

It’s a potent health fundamental

Better clarity of mind, great skin, circadian benefits, etc
There are a few things to note:

1. You won’t nearly achieve the same benefits if you’re wearing sunglasses or contact lenses

Mother Nature’s optics need natural, undisturbed light for the full effect

Especially in relation to POMC, skin protection, so forth
2. Clothing blocks these light wavelengths from hitting your skin

When I say as little clothing as possible, I mean it

Treat it exactly like sunbathing

Each morning, I expose 90-95% of my raw skin to AM sunlight as it ascends
3. If you’re the type to put sunscreen on in the morning, all hope is lost

But seriously, what the hell are you doing?

Toss the sunscreen

There’s no way you’ll get a burn from morning sunlight exposure

AM sunlight on your skin, through filaggrin, will protect you from burns
4. Sunbathe in AM sunlight for at least 30 minutes daily

My rule of thumb might seem like a long time, but it’s the most important part of the day

You’ll be amazed by how much energy and drive you have after some time of doing this

5. Consistency is king

For best results, you really have to understand the importance of this practice and do it religiously

It’s not hard to get people to do this because of the impact beta-endorphin has on them

Biologically driven addiction with only upside, zero downside
The versatility of this practice strikes me more than anything because the sun is always out

Even when it’s very cloudy, you’re still getting an incredible amount of natural circadian friendly light

Follow the same steps, and you’ll get the benefits of cold and natural light
Wherever you are, you can wake up and immediately go outside

If you can only expose your bare eyes, so be it as long as it gets done

Full body? Amazing

Just shirtless? Great

The point is that your skin is actually in the game as opposed to inside
Layer on your morning activities with this practice. Eat breakfast outside under sunshine. Take calls outside. Train outside. Go for a stroll

Making it automatic is key for overall metabolic health

Compounding return plays a huge role when it’s the foundation of your lifestyle
As you age, you’ll notice that, compared to most people in your age bracket:

• Your eyesight is great
• Your energy is consistent & high
• Your skin looks tight and great
• Your mood is on another level
• Your performance is better
• Your attitude is more infectious
• Your mind is sharper
• Your hair is more full
• Your body is in better shape
