SitRep - 09/12/23 - Heavy Russian losses in Krynky

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Lots of footage coming from Krynky, occupied left bank, showing major Russian losses in terms of heavy equipment.

As usual we start with Russian losses
Near Makiivka, occupied Donetsk region, a tank and a modernized Buk M1-2 were destroyed
A heavy explosion occured in Makiivka. It is still unclear what was hit. Some say an oil depot/warehouse was hit while the geolocation shows a gas station present at the place of the fire.
By the end of the day, the fire was still not extinguished.
A Russian car destroyed near Poima, left bank of the Kherson region.
Russians are now also using RC controlled vehicles to deliver goods to the front line units, scared of being hit by FPV's themself.
Let's continue with the general events. Ukraine adopted more laws which are needed for the start of EU accession negotiations.
In Kyiv, another Soviet-era monument was dismantled.
Scholz on the congress of his Social Democratic Party, expressed the willingness to scale up aid for Ukraine if others stall or weaken.
In search for meat, Russia is now actively recruiting among foreigners/migrants on the Finnish border.

➡️South of Robotyne, Russians retook some area along the T0408 highway, making the big trench network area contested again.

➡️Two big Russian mechanized attacks were repelled, destroying lots of heavy equipment such as tanks, IFV's and APC's. One attack happened in the western outskirts and one coming from the forest area south of Krynky. Image
