With the release of the latest Iowa Poll, and the Caucuses now just 35 days away, I think it is time to have a blunt conversation about the state of things. Not just Iowa, but beyond. And I'm going to tell you what I really think, because that's what I do.
And therefore, I'm not sure anybody is going to like it, but that's just my way lol.
The main goal here is not Iowa but defeating the Demoncrats 329 days from today. I have never said that before, but this time I am convinced the country cannot survive another four years of this combined manifestation of corruption, evil, and idiocy.
I started off the cycle saying there are 3 proven disrupter candidates: DeSantis, RFK Jr, and Trump. That is why they're the only three candidates I have profiled. That is why they're the only three candidates I can morally justify voting for.
Everyone else is either a proven product of the system (corporatism vs paganism) like Haley, or unproven like Vivek. Right now, my focus is DeSantis and Trump, because they're engaged in a primary. Later, I'll focus more on independent RFK Jr when we get to the general.
IMO, DeSantis is the much stronger general election candidate. The Florida results speak for themselves, both on election night and day-to-day governing. And frankly I don't even think it is close.
However, according to muh polls, GOP primary voters believe Trump is the stronger candidate. We will start voting in just 35 days and those results will speak for themselves, but I truly believe both Trump & DeSantis have a potentially fatal psyop to overcome.
And if they don't overcome this potentially fatal pysop, as I said on my show a week ago, neither of them will win the presidency 329 days from now --regardless of how much any of us need/want them to. Let's start with Trump.
84 days from today it is VERY LIKELY that Trump is going to be put on trial as an insurrectionist in front of the star chamber the DC gulag calls a jury there. Yet, if you talk to the average Trump operative/voter, they each still act as if this event is not going to occur.
Or they're convinced it's all a scam like Russian Collusion and will go away. Make no mistake, it is a scam, but it is not going away. These people seriously plan to convict and incarcerate Trump, as they have many of his supporters -- both violent and non-violent -- for Jan 6th.
No one is coming to save Trump this time like Barr did from the endless Mueller Probe. Trump just lost another appeal attempt to delay post 2024 last week. I think it is at least 80% that trial is going to start on March 4th, or the day before Super Tuesday, as planned.
That is because the Democrats are hopeful their psyop to get GOP primary voters to rally around the persecuted Trump will pay off, and right as he is the presumptive GOP nominee they put him on trial as what amounts to a traitor.
And then after a month or two of slanted testimony, that occupies all of our attention and resources instead of defeating Democrats, they have a conviction. Following said conviction, blue SOSs begin questioning the ballot access of an "insurrectionist" and "convicted felon."
There are blue SOSs in places like Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, where we must win next November. This will produce months more of legal challenges, which will also be the focus instead of beating Democrats.
Much of 2024 will be spent turning the GOP into a legal defense fund instead of a GOTV operation. This will have major ramifications down ballot as well. And if you look at actual special election/off-year results rather than muh polls, the 2023 GOP got collectively crushed.
What is Team Trump's answer for this? Do they have a plan? When will we know the plan? What is the backup plan for running from prison or nominating a felon? What is the contingency if SCOTUS doesn't save Trump from trial in March, or ballot access challenges later?
These are questions we all deserve answer to before entrusting our collective fates here. Because the whole country loses if Trump 2024 loses, just as it lost when he wasn't recognized as the winner in 2020.

Which brings me to DeSantis.
For him the primary polling psyop marches on. Today's Iowa Poll wants us to believe he has the exact same amount of total support he had before he got the endorsement of the most popular elected official so far this century. Um, ok.
And that his numbers haven't moved at all after a slew of celebrated events, like the recent Newsom debate, which drew over a million more viewers than Trump's did on the same channel/timeslot a week later.

Except I warned of this, remember, but nobody listened.
I've said it on my show. I've told everyone I know in the DeSantis camp, the public numbers were never gonna move. Because they are a psyop. Today's Iowa Poll gave Trump both a 30-point lead, but also said half the electorate is willing to change its mind.

Come on, man.
However, you can scream psyop all you want, but without a counter narrative a psyop becomes narrative. We didn't defeat the Covid psyop because we didn't have a counter-narrative, but because we did. People like me found real data to counter the BS being peddled.
Sooner or later a psyop unchallenged becomes conventional wisdom. And I am telling you now, without an effective counter narrative I do not believe DeSantis will win Iowa, let alone the nomination or this election.
I also don't understand the strategy of having the least amount of money spent on the frontrunner and expecting to beat him, but that's a topic for another day. Because the real issue isn't strategy but the psyop being waged since the first indictment in March.
That March indictment in Manhattan not coincidentally created a polling paradigm shift of rallying around Trump. It's right there in the RCP average, go and trace it for yourself.

The system doesn't want a sane, mature, ruthlessly efficient reformer. It doesn't want ANY reformer, but if the choice is the mercurial and narcissistic Trump who doesn't sweat the details, or a DeSantis, it will choose Trump. And it has.
The DeSantis campaign, IMO, must address this or it will lose IMO. Sure, its superior ground game can make up ground on game day. And that typically happens in Iowa, as I pointed out here:
But there is only so much ground a ground game can make up, especially because this cycle the muh polls psyop is far more merciless than those years. And the opponent is also stronger and more popular, too.
In conclusion, I just want what's left of America to win 329 days from now. I obviously think DeSantis is the superior general, this campaign has only reinforced my belief there, but I'm ultimately fighting for the American flag not a political brand.

This is in Politico Playbook this morning. Trump campaign meeting with corporate media who hates us all, but they’re conspiring together to destroy @RonDeSantis. The same media that tried to impeach Trump and is trying to put him in prison now, nevertheless toasting his campaign. All the same people the Trump campaign is schmoozing now will of course go all in to defeat him in the general.

From a Little Birdie who was there at the same restaurant and witnessed it firsthand:

“Not a single conservative media outlet was there. All corporate and left-wing media. On the one hand, it is noteworthy the Trump campaign felt the need to travel the length of the country for a debate their candidate supposedly doesn’t think is worth his time. But to actually see these two supposed mortal enemies yucking it up, to see the liberal media completely in bed with the Trump campaign like that, it was surreal.”
This just goes to show the Trump campaign/team thinks this is all just politics. And they can reel in these vipers for some silly "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" 1-dimensional chess. Meanwhile, enemy media speaks with forked tongue. Its father is the father of lies. They advocate for murder, human trafficking, gender mutilation, etc. out in the open. The true doctrines of demons.

The Trump campaign isn't using the enemy media. It is using them. They are the ones playing 4-D chess here. At the same time the Trump campaign is buying the high-end steak dinners and bottomless glasses of wine, these same people are coordinating with the deep state to destroy Trump and anyone adjacent to him -- even to the point of imprisonment.

Meanwhile, Trump and his team again acting as if this is all a game, except they're the ones being played (and us). This isn't pro wrestling with heroes and heels and Hulk Hogan goes from a real American to Hollywood. This is an outright Cold Civil War, and only one side will win. The other will be lost to history. We're playing a game. They're playing for keeps.

This is what I mean when I say our side just isn't serious. But the other side is as serious as a Covid jab-inducing heart attack.
They accused you of being traitor and Russian asset. They stole an election from you. They impeached you. They're trying to imprison you now. And your people are wining and dining them? Are you freaking kidding me? What will it take to take this all seriously?

Gather round, boys and girls, as I spin you a tale in this thread that is about much more than #conferencerealignment in #CollegeFootball. Oh, it is about much more than that. For this tale contains much of what is now eroding nearly all our cultural institutions in real-time.
There's a dash of everything contributing to our current decline in the cauldron here: institutional myopia, ideological blinders, no self-awareness, hubris to think you can ignore market economics, fake victimology, greed, and most definitely good old fashioned elitism.
Let's begin...The genesis of our story actually takes us back almost 40 years ago. An organization called the NCAA regulates collegiate athletics with an iron fist and anti-trust protection. Yet it faces the first real challenge to its hegemony.

Although it'll probably fall on mostly deaf ears here, where too many are emotionally/financially invested in an outcome so they can't/won't be able to, since I like how Twitter is increasingly democratized let's try to have an adult conversation about #TrumpIndictment. THREAD:
It looks like this DOJ case is only about the Mar-A-Lago raid and the classified documents allegedly found. Hence, Trump being indicted in Miami. However, that jury pool won't be as biased against him as the one in Manhattan. Trump received 46% of the vote in Miami-Dade in 2020.
And yes, in this era of political persecution, evidence doesn't matter nearly as much as the political loyalties of the prospective jury pool. Trump is toast in Manhattan, where he received only 12% of the 2020 vote. He will likely be convicted of felonies there.

Finally got home and have time to share my top 5 thoughts on the #DeSantis2024 announcement today fwiw.

1) Obviously the tech glitches at the beginning were sub-optimal and drained some of the voluminous energy that was building going in. If the campaign fails, obviously we… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
2) Regardless of the clumsy start, the bottom line is this was the biggest story on the planet today, produced the highest-attended presidential announcement in history, and the campaign raised some serious cash. You can’t ask for more than that as a campaign. What DeSantis… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
3) After his Iowa swing two weeks ago, I heard from people they wanted more of DeSantis off the cuff, and that he was better interacting with people than they expected. I think we saw that in this event. I get you typically have your stump speech prepared to formally launch, but… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

It ain’t about the name on the front: Trump, DeSantis, Cruz, McCain, Romney, etc.

It’s about the name on the back: ‘merica.

When we’re dumb, we let them make it about themselves. When we’re smart, we make them make it about us.

We can’t afford anymore dumb.
We have two pit bulls in this primary at least, when there were past years we weren’t sure we had any. And right when we need a proverbial killer, too! The absolute dumbest thing we could, then, is create an environment where we don’t make them truly show us the alpha dog.
They won’t do that to us. We will do this to ourselves, with silly high school BS. We want them to fight, but we need to supply the right piece of meat. Because we want whomever comes out of that cage ready for war.

Amen. So what happened? IMO, first clue was denial of natural immunity and no pursuit of focused protection (herd immunity) in 2020. At first I thought that was because they were tacitly admitting virus wasn't natural, and thus unsure how beholden it was to the laws of nature.
But then we started rolling out the jabs without updated national antibody data, because by then we had numerous studies that showed natural immunity remained sturdy against their chimeric concoction. So then why not pursue a traditional vaccine strategy to achieve herd immunity?
In other words, why weren't we finally doing focused protection? Focusing on those high risk, as Kyle pointed out? Why the rush to plunge the jab into every arm, including those with robust natural immunity?
