SitRep - 13/12/23 - Negotiations on US aid for Ukraine are in full swing

An overview of daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Biden administration offered changes to the US border to the GOP in order to get the supplemental aid to Ukraine done.

As usual we start with Russian losses
Overnight, Russia attacked with a mix of Shahed drones which all were shot down, and 10 ballistic missiles (S-400/Iskander). All of them were reportedly shot down, but due to falling debris and wreckage, damage was done and people were injured.

Several pieces of heavy Russian equipment were destroyed
A Russian mortar finished off by an FPV drone.
It was a while ago when the last 2S7 was destroyed, but they appeared again and yet another one was destroyed.

Let's continue with the general events. Although a new US aid package hasn't been agreed on, Zelenskyi urged the US to also supply the longer-range ATACMS to Ukraine.
The US officially confirmed a new aid package worth 200 million dollars.
Republicans are discussing an offer from Joe Biden's administration regarding changes to the US border. If approved, a vote on the aid package for Ukraine will likely follow fast.
Today, Zelenskyi met with Kamal Harris before flying towards Europe again...
He arrived in Oslo, to meet with Nordic leaders.
Norway said it would allocated humanitarian and financial aid worth $800 million.
In addition, new NASAMS air defense systems were pledged. Some directly delivered, some ordered from the industry for delivery later
Denmark also confirmed it would present a new aid package for Ukraine which will be talked about in the Danish parliament tomorrow.
Parts of the frozen funds ment for Hungary were unfrozen by the European Commission. I'm sure this has to do with a future approval for an aid package to Ukraine worth $50 billion.

Avdiivka

➡️In the industrial zone, Russia has slightly improved its positions. Ukrainian forces still maintain presence in the area south and southwest of it, although it is less prominent as before. Image
North of Avdiivka between Stepove and the Avdiivka Coke Plant, a Russian column of 3 MT-LB's was destroyed by Bradley TOW's and artillery fire.
More footage of the Avdiivka killing fields. This time recorded by the 47th mechanized brigade. It is not known if this is the same field als the recent footage from the 110th mechanized brigade.
Mar'inka

➡️Although Gen. Tarnavskyi reports that attacks are repelled in and near Mar'inka, geolocated footage shows Russian presence both in remaining parts north and south, considered under AFU control. This means, Mar'inka -or better to say its remains/ruins- is likely lost. Image
Krynky

➡️RU sources claim a counterattack coming from the forest area and the eastern outskirts is ongoing. AFU units would have reportedly retreated to the center. This all needs further confirmation.
➡️RU sources also claim AFU brought in new troops.
