Scottish Government estimates show that the value of Scotland's exports has slumped by nearly £2bn since the UK exited the UK from £16.950bn in 2019, to £14.970 in 2021 - a 12% drop in two years (3/5)
It comes as exports to the rest of the UK rose by an almost equivalent amount - £1.89bn - from £46.695bn to £48.585bn. The biggest export slump amongst key EU partners came with the Netherlands - with trade crashing by over 25% (4/5)

Ferguson Marine: Extra £25m of public cash injected over ferry fiasco (1/4)
MINISTERS have ploughed more than £25 million in “emergency” funding into the nationalised shipyard building two long overdue and massively over-budget ferries this financial year, it can be revealed
It was confirmed that £6m of direct capital spending has been injected into the nationalised Ferguson Marine yard – as the ferries’ delivery will be delayed yet again by at least six months.
The Scotch Whisky Association described it as an “unjustifiable” hike which would result in 75 per cent of the money spent on a bottle would go to the Treasury.
