If anyone else is angry at @JohnnyMercerUK's disrespect to @FredThomasUK's service and to the @RoyalMarines in general you might consider emailing the Standards Committee on [e-mail].
Personally I think these writings have the potential to be libellous.

To whom it may concern,
I wish to raise a complaint about Johnny Mercer's becavior on social media platform X.
Please see below screenshots of Mercer's writings. Here he suggests that Fred Thomas' 7 years of service in the Royal Marines equates to "5 minutes in uniform" and

questions his integrity. For clarity, Thomas left the Royal Marines as a Captain, the same rank Mercer achieved after 10 years.
This thread came after Thomas posted a link (see below) asking for details on why Veteran homelessness has increased 14%.

Mercer is the Veterans Affairs Minister and in charge of the Operation Fortitude so would be the correct person to ask.
