Update/BLIS k12 🧵
My experience with BLIS k12 has been extremely positive & I feel important to share. My families symptoms (sore throat, cough etc - see original 🧵) resolved/mostly resolved within 24hrs & turned a corner within 48hrs.
Now all 90-95% better. I have remained asymptomatic. All continue to test -ve. It was impressive to see the quick turn around of symptoms. We have been taking BLIS k12 4x day (packet says can take up to 4/day), the Italian study used two lozenges at night: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P…
Zero of 33 children taking the BLIS K12 oral probiotic (two lozenges at night) tested positive, in the control arm (no oral probiotic) 24 out of 46 children tested positive (study link above)
Recent study shows BLIS K12 increases immune response to COVID in oral mucosa:

BLIS k12 is a special probiotic blend developed by a New Zealand microbiologist Prof John Tagg. BLIS is an acronym for a special type of anti-microbial peptide known as ‘Bacteriocin-Like Inhibitory Substances’.
It works by colonizing your respiratory tract so pathogens can’t stick and beefs up the oral immune response: therabreath.com/what-are-probi…
It is day 5 since the onset of symptoms, we will continue testing for a few more days but since symptoms have mostly resolved (by day 3) I’m not expecting any positive tests (there can be no ⬆️in viral load if symptoms have significantly improved).
I don’t know if we dodged COVID
or some other respiratory virus. All I know is symptom resolution was impressive. We did take several other supplements beside this one (Zinc, Vit D etc)

International travel 🧵:
I recently traveled from San Francisco ➡️Edinburgh, Scotland for a family Wedding. I’ve been home 5 1/2 days, three negative Lucira tests on days 2, 4, 5.
The week before I left/throughout the trip/since I got home I took a daily baby aspirin.
In an effort to be as safe as possible, I’m v fortunate that my Dr prescribed me Novavax as a primary series that I completed a month before I left. I also was able to get Paxlovid/Metformin prescribed to take w me (antivirals in UK are almost impossible to get).
I flew Aer Lingus via Dublin & had booked a seat on the long portion w extra leg room ie. Less people sat close to me. My seat was in middle of aircraft at an exit row, it was an Airbus, there was some distance to the
