1. ARRAIGNMENT 7/8: There was a hush in the packed court, without notice, Epstein, appeared from a door and scurried across the room slithering into his seat between his lawyers (whom he had just met). With a shock of grey hair, he wore a black prison uniform with a brown tee.

2. Emotionless, Epstein was read his rights 'to remain silent'..., 'not guilty' he whispered, to the two charge indictment, of sex trafficking and conspiracy to traffic. Title 18 Section 1591

3. Gov: He is an extraordinary flight risk and danger to the community and should be remanded till trial Charged with trafficking minors for sex acts, a years long scheme to engage others to procure nude massages. He has 'infinite means' 2 jets, private islands and 6 residences.

4. The SDNY has a 'strong' case with multiple victims and corroborators, Epstein accused obstruction, witness tampering, harassment, in one instance, 'forcing the father of a witness off the road'.

5. The raid of his 71rst st mansion, seized 'a vast trove, thousands of nude photos some appear underage', a massage room with sex paraphernalia as described by witnesses. A locked safe with discs marked 'Young Misc Nude 1', 'Girl Nude 2'

6. Defense Atty Weingarten argued the indictment was a 're-do' that the Non Prosecution Agreement, 'complex negotiations agreed to high up in main Justice' that it was double jeopardy and this was settled as 'prostitution'

7. Judge Berman interrupted, 'But they were underage, the concept of child prostitution is beyond the law, they can not consent to sex'. Weingarten retort, 'YOUR HONOR, I HAD A SENIOR MOMENT, IT CAN'T BE STATUTORY RAPE, BECAUSE THERE WAS NO PENETRATION.

8. BAIL HEARING 7/15/19: Judge Berman,'The victims of Mr Epstein have the right to be heard and they oppose bail' the judge had questions, 'did Epstein register as a sex offender in NY, FLA, Virgin Islands and New Mexico?'

9. The defense requested financial summary under seal. It was less than a page and judge said he couldn't make a decision for bail remand. Epstein had submitted NO bank records. Assets of $500 million

10. Epstein is a Level III sex offender, the highest risk for recidivism. He applied in NY to lower to Level I, he was denied by the Board of Examiners of Sex Offenders on 1/18/11

11. Gov revealed in raid it seized 'piles of cash, over 30 diamonds and a passport issued by a foreign government in the 80s with Epstein's picture but a different name, his residence Saudi Arabia' thousands of photos of nudes, one self identified victim who was underage at time.

12. New allegations of witness tampering, after @jkbjournalist Miami Herald story, Epstein made payments of $250k and $100k to two employees. Judge questioned 'Mr Acosta's role and the SDFLA US attorney's office'

13. The gov says fear of flight with 6 homes, one in France, 2 private jets, $500 million net worth, with $110 million in one account. Gov 'strong' case is 'stronger everyday dramatically expanded in scope in one week'

14. The defense argued 'any danger once posed is long since abated, that Mr Epstein had 'self disciplined' and there have been no new allegations in 14 years to which Judge Berman replied 'I'M NOT SO SURE'

15. He continued saying he'd read, recidivism is more dangerous at 14 years. (I'm a Hazelden author, all addictions are PROGRESSIVE and the compulsions in the sex addict are actually MORE insatiable with passage of time)

16. The defense continued because of the publicity and Mr Epstein's wealth, more victims would come forward, "IT'S NOT LIKE HE'S AN OUT OF CONTROL RAPIST" to which Judge Berman replied, "HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT?"

17. David Boies and Bradley Edwards representing two of the victims were in court, Judge Berman asked if anyone wanted to speak, Boies raised his hand, and stated he was in discovery for a case and witnesses refused to cooperate after Epstein paid them $350k to 'influence' them.

18. Boies indicated HE would speak for victims, UNEXPECTADLY, Annie Farmer approached and stood near Epstein, who stared straight ahead at the judge. 'I was 16 when I had the misfortune of meeting Epstein in New York. He flew me to New Mexico, he was inappropriate with me.'

19. A second Epstein victim, Courtney Wild approached 'I was sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein starting at the age of 14, I request no bail for the safety of any other girls. It’s a public case, and he’s a scary person to have walking the streets.'

20. Defense essentially offered millions in bail package, gov called 'build his own jail', Judge Berman responded, 'What about all those people on Rikers who can't make $1000 bail? If that's the standard, what do I tell people who can't make bail?'

21. Gov says, 'Defendant thought he got away with it' Doesn't commit a crime in 15 yrs, presumption still applies, no statute of limitations for sex crimes against children should be 'looking over shoulder rest of his life'

22. Judge's response to defenses 'self discipline' argument, when he has an 'appetite for children' how do you discipline himself? (Next day new victim came forward Epstein continued to offend while in detention in Palm Beach)

23. On July 18, Judge Berman ruled because of his flight risk and danger to the community, Jeffrey Epstein would be remanded to Manhattan Correctional Facility until trial.

24. After sitting in court for 3 days with Epstein and after he died listening to 30 of his victims read their impact statements, there is no way you could have visited his mansions w/o knowing what he was doing. He proudly gave everyone tours of his massage room with sex toys!
