SitRep - 03/01/23 - 230 Ukrainian heroes returned πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Today, 230 Ukrainian servicemen and civilians were returned from Russian captivity. Among them are Mariupol and Azovstal defenders.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours
No drone or missile attack overnight, but during the day, almost as usual, a Kh-59 missile was shot down. Aimed for Dnipropetrovsk region.
A group of soldiers trying to hide behind an abandoned Leopard 2A4 tank near Krasnohorivka-Stepove, were hit by an FPV drone. Definitely their last trip.
On the left bank, a Russian vehicle carrying supplies was hit and destroyed
In the Kursk region, 'unknown' drones attacked a substation after which heating and electricity in the whole of Zheleznogorsk dissapeared.

SSO units very precisely got rid of a ZALA drone and its command crew in the occupied part of the Kherson region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian M2A2 Bradley IFV's are working on Russians trying to enter the zone near Stepove.
Let's continue with the general events. In Russia, silent and forced deportation to the front line is continuing.
Temperatures in Ukraine are expected to drop significantly in the next couple of days.
Norway will send two F-16's to Denmark which will serve as training aircraft for Ukrainian pilots, currently undergoing training in Denmark.
Germany again condemned what Russia did, but didn't change is position regarding Taurus missiles to Ukraine.

Condemnations won't win wars Germany.
Ukraine plans to sixfolds its defensive complex production.
The best news of the day. In total, ~230 Ukrainian soldiers and some civilians were returned from Russian captivity during the biggest POW exchange since the start of Russia's invasion.

Avdiivka-Pervomaiske

➑️South of Avdiivka, Russian units, based on geolocated footage, have advance slightly towards Pervomaiske, taking control over the area south of the Izmailovskyi pond.

Svatove-Novojehorivka

➑️In the Svatove direction, Russians claim that a renewed offensive push is taking place west of Karmazynivka. This is the same area where Russian units tried to advance during the summer of '23 but had to retreat not much later.

In the Bakhmut direction, fighting is fierce. Near Bohdanivka, lines of control didn't change but Russia maintains their efforts to go forward to Chasiv-Yar.
