Please help me protect life in Ukraine. Russia has targeted Ukrainian civilians and civilian infrastructure. This means the water supplies and energy supplies that people need to stay alive, especially throughout the winter. Last winter Russia tried to freeze the Ukrainians. 1/
Last year, many of you joined me in a @U24_gov_ua project to fund development and early implementation of an anti-drone system to protect Ukrainian civilians. 2/
As you might have noticed, the Ukrainian armed forces did indeed become very good at detecting and destroying Russian drones, especially the Iranian-made Shahed kamikaze systems. 3/

1/5. Vladimir Kara-Murza was sentenced to twenty-five years in prison just for speaking the simple truth about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
2/5. He was sent to a prison in Omsk, where he was immediately placed in a punishment cell. This is a gross violation of human rights. Kara-Murza is a courageous man.

1/8. Russia started this war on the premise that Kyiv would fall in 3 days because Ukraine was fake.
2/8. The idea, which they were quite open about, was that they would kill nationally-conscious Ukrainians during the occupation and assimilate the rest.

2/7. The supposed evidence for friendship between Ukrainians and Russians (photo with flags of both countries) actually comes from a Russian protest against the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
3/7. The literal claim displaces a simple truth with a falsehood. In fact, Ukrainian attitudes to Russia changed as a result of the Russian invasions of 2014 and 2022.
