On Jan 8th, videos circulated that showed a tunnel network under the @Lubavitch HQ in Crown Heights & several Jewish men being arrested. More video showed another Jewish man escaping through another tunnel & a group resisting officers.
The building was shut down afterwards.

Initially, the claim was the tunnels were made to pray during COVID.
This is most likely false.
Neighbor with Mikvah access: "As of 6 months ago no work on the tunnel had begun."
Since renovation was the main reason the tunnels were noticed, they could've been there earlier 🤔

The theory pushed by Chabad as to why the tunnels are there is because "extremist students" wanted to expand the synagogue.

The contents of the tunnel are very disturbing and don't seem like items "extremist students" would keep.
A mattress with a dark stain was found. A baby high chair was found as well.
The crowd protecting the tunnels isn't small. They also aren't of student age.

Using geo-mapping, one of the tunnels exit near the local Children's Museum 🚨
It is also unclear how large the tunnel network is, and where the other passages lead to.
As more information comes in, we will know how extensive the network is.

Discussion of the tunnels online has been avoided by many accounts. Some accounts claimed the tunnels were even fake!
@IsraelWarRoom labeled such discussion of the tunnels "anti-Semitic." 🤡

- What was the liquid on the stained mattress?
- Why was there a baby high chair in the tunnel?
- Has a full forensic analysis been performed in the area?
- Where does the full tunnel network lead to?
- Has the entire tunnel network been filmed/documented?
- When were the tunnels created?
- Do any security cameras have a clear view of entrances of the tunnels? If so, have those been subpoenaed? What does the footage show?
- Have there been any people who reported this before the renovation in Dec 2023?
- Who anonymously tipped off the fire department about the tunnels?
- Who used the tunnels? Were there groups who would go into the tunnels together frequently?
- Have any minors entered the tunnels?
- Have any minors displayed behavior of a survivor upon exiting the tunnel?
- Have the tunnels been connected to any past or ongoing criminal cases?
- Have any witnesses of the tunnel creation or have reported the tunnel been identified?
