1/ My parents have been my caregivers for the 19 months. In September they wrote a letter to Senator Sanders, sharing my story & info about #LongCovid & #MECFS and pleading for a HELP Committee hearing. On 9/20 they spoke with Bernie on the phone and he committed to a hearing! 
2/ His Chief of Staff has been so kind and kept in touch over the months, reaching out again this Monday to let us know the hearing was happening and officially scheduled for Thursday, January 18th at 10 am. We are so grateful to Chairman Sanders for conducting this hearing.
3/ Before I contracted Long Covid, I was a mega Bernie volunteer — phonebanking and canvassing was my life. This account was born from the campaign! If there are other former volunteers now living with Long Covid and/or ME/CFS, please let me know as I’d love to connect. ❤️
4/ The timing of this hearing following Bernie’s own experience with acute Covid recently and the #PodSaveJon campaign is really powerful. I want to thank @SFdirewolf and @loscharlos for their efforts to raise awareness to the realities of our community!! Let’s keep it going!
